WAS NO ONE HAPPY ABOUT Marzipan Blossom’s birth?? Reading chapter 6 of pt 3

Ah...I see you reached that part of the story 😅

(Spoilers under the cut!)

Well, to put it bluntly, yes, during the first few legs of Project Blossom, things were a little tense. To remind the audience, White Lily Cookie's first attempt at baking a Cookie did not go well, so Pure Vanilla Cookie fears a similar disaster. Moreover, the Cookies she involved in the project, one of them being Butter Roll Cookie, has Espresso Cookie worried, as his own obsession with baking Cookies is borderline unethical, and he shows concerns as using Meringue Cookie as a test subject.

This is all out of concern for her as her family and friends, obviously, but they were yet to understand the revolutionary progress of her extended research. Plus, having it attract the attention of the Cookies of Darkness and inciting them to consider betrayal wasn't ideal either. So yeah, tensions run high at first while Marz is baking in Mama Meri's oven, but it all ends up worth it in the end, promise!

Too impatient to sit still and wait her sister out, Marzipan Blossom Cookie charges in to the rescue, but not before Prune Juice Cookie discovers something hidden in the graveyard. As the two friends are brought before the High Forkbearer, who tells them of the Call and the bond between good and evil, the group is reunited in the dungeons and all hope seems lost...until two unlikely Cookies have a change of heart.

I'M BACK WITH A VENGEANCE, HOES! LOOK AT ME AND BE AFRAID!

So, took me until one half of the new update was over, but I wrote a new side story! Welcome to Destiny of Doom! After investigating the aftermath of Black Forest Cookie's chilling wedding, the sisters and their friends trace it back to the St. Pastry Order, who is plotting something sinister in the fog of their hidden cathedral. Prepared to fight back the demons of her past, Crème Cheese Cookie takes Marzipan Blossom Cookie and Prune Juice Cookie on a quest to rescue Madeleine Cookie before the Order can get to him first.

Alright, FINALLY gonna bring this story arc to a close so I can get moving on my other projects, I've kept the fans waiting long enough 😅 (Still, if you guys wanna see it, there IS a honeymoon arc in the works, I'll probably only post it under...certain circumstances)

After a wonderful ceremony, Meringue Cookie and Clotted Cream Cookie share one last moment during the reception, and the story is brought full circle, giving their children some perspective.

I know, I know, wedding update's long since over, but I was going to have centerpiece art done for this one, and it unfortunately fell through, so I ultimately decided to scrap it. Nonetheless, here it is now!

The big day is finally here, and after trials and tribulation, Meringue Cookie and Clotted Cream Cookie finally have the wedding ceremony they deserve. They recount all that they've been through and what waits ahead, and how they choose to face it with hope.
