As we enter pride month. Remember that riots are what revolutionized our country. Without stonewall we wouldn’t have the rights we have today to hold hands in public with the person we love, to have parades celebrating every year the work those before us did to give us a better future. It is our responsibility to do the same for black lives. Marsha P Johnson was known as the Rosa Parks for the gay liberation movement. A black trans woman. We need to stand up for our black brothers and sisters. The injustice in our capitalist society will not be tolerated. Stand up. Speak up. Do everything you can so those who’s voices are being silenced can be heard. If you think this has nothing to do with you you need to really look inward. This country was founded on “we the people” and we are given the right to stand up when the country is not taking care of its people. These uprisings changed history. We call these people hero’s. So how can we sit back and let the protesters of 2020 be called “thugs”. This is a revolution towards change. This fight has just begun. Keep doing your part.
