I think the reason conservatives hate environmentalism so much is that all the terminology is too friendly and lame sounding to take seriously. I purpose we change the following terms to get these people on our side.

Solar powered -> Plasma charged

Wind power -> Vortex energy

Electric vehicle -> Lightning machine

Renewable resource -> Infinity asset

Greenhouse gasses -> Death Clouds

Global warming -> Property devaluation

Environmentalists -> Wilderness cops

For example, saying you're a wilderness cop that drives a lightning machine powered by infinity assets to reduce death clouds and increase your property value sounds 100x more macho than the alternative.

I mostly consider myself to be an introverted Human Being; but there are times, mostly when I am sitting in my basement apartment, alone, scrolling repeatedly through Discord channels, Facebook, and Twitter, listening to/watching stream VODS on YouTube, where I begin to *crave* the presence of Another. no one will read this because this blurb is too long and peoples attention spans don’t last longer than a tweet but i thought writing this felt important nonetheless. its not for everyone. that’s okay. we’re taught that if your work doesn’t reach a lot of people it isn’t important. but when someone, even just one person, sees your work and has a connection to it, it means something too. and because it only appeals to one person, the work has more importance. like a pair of jeans that only fit you. intimacy can be important in the consumption of art not just conversation. there’s artistic intimacy. when a work of art deters so many people away that only a few are left standing. maybe even just one.

Look at this point if something in a TV show feels off, my first, immediate response is, "who in the corporate office fucked them over?"

Wonky writing? Something feels rushed? Animation errors? First question should be, "Who was fucking over the production team? What were the censorship notes? Was this what the team actually wanted to do, or were they strong-armed?"

I think a lot of y'all are way too fast to blame the writers and animators for issues that wouldn't exist if the studio executives and the censors weren't fucking it up for everyone.

Pay the writers. Pay the actors. Pay the animators. And for god's sake, stop blaming them for industry-wide issues that the unions are actively trying to fight against.
