peering out from the under the rim of his hat, he holds a steady glare in the other’s direction. there’s immediate distrust formed at a single glance. he doesn’t look like a hero to kouta. he looks like some punk BITCH just wasting his time. did his parents mistake yuuei for boot camp ?! that’s alright, the pussycats’ll straighten him out anyways. he may look tough now, but they’ll have him crawling back to his dorm each night. 

       ❝ what are you looking at?! ❞ he asks, gaze still locked onto the blond. as if he’d let this go --- trying to argue with people at least a decade older was always entertaining. kouta had matured far past his years; life made sure of that. the way that people looked down at him for being so young only made it easier to have the upper - hand in an argument.

never before had he thought of eri as a baker, but it felt almost too cruel to refuse. especially after she had been so kind as to offer. picking up one of the cookies, he made sure to inspect it – looking it over for any burns, or signs of being undercooked. once the dessert seemed to pass inspection, kouta popped it into his mouth in one single bite. chewing it, his expression remained the same – hardly fitting for a young boy just offered some sweets. 

      ❝ it’s not that bad … i guess. ❞ 

                                   & despite his neutral response, he found himself reaching for another.

❝ i’m not cold. ❞ he told the woman, as she went ahead & wrapped him inside of the jacket anyways. despite his own stubbornness, kouta couldn’t lie to himself and say he was warmer without it. no matter how much he tried to say that it wasn’t cold out, his body betrayed him with it’s erratic shivering. 

     covered from nose to boot in the large fluffy jacket, all that could be seen were a pair of glaring eyes, his usual hat, & black swampers. he was practically a walking fur coat. ❝ this is stupid. ❞ he complained. as he waddled along in order to keep up with momo.

lifting his blue crayon up dramatically, beady eyes shifted to the other. planning is everything & he wanted this jack-o-lantern to come out perfect. ❝ no. you just have to keep hollowing it out. were not even close to being able to start actually carving it yet, so continue working. ❞ with that, he crumpled up his sheet of paper & moved on to the next. vampire fangs on a pumpkin were lame anyways. maybe they could just carve horns into it – obviously, it was a work in progress.
