US-ians learn any non-US history before commenting on the history of another country challenge. Level: impossible.
something something "the average country has 10000 prime ministers per election cycle" is a misconception. united kingdoms georg, which has had 10000 prime ministers since 2019, is an outlier and should have never been counted
US-ians who are getting into football and the world cup are genuinely fascinating to me because a lot of them seem entirely resistant to understanding it at all? Like suggesting rule changes, misunderstanding how rankings work, even how shit-talking works, they're just bad at all of it somehow? (For the shit-talking thing, from what I've seen they're doing basically the reverse of established shit-talking etiquette: instead of talking shit before and during a match, then being a gracious winner/loser and focusing on their own team, they're only talking shit after matches which is, imo, bad. If you're only comfortable talking shit if your team wins, you suck and you're a coward). In my experience, they're also EXTREMELY sensitive about this - when I've seen other people point this out, the US-ian OP tends to bring up things like football hooliganism, and ignore the fact that we also think hooligans are bad and it's an acknowledged problem - it seems indicative of a culture of refusal of self-reflection in favour of aggressively shifting the topic of conversation whenever a potential flaw is highlighted.
This is only really about US-ians who are just now getting into football after their team beat two lower-ranked teams; most US-ian football fans who have been football fans for a while know how to behave.
The knives are not flowey's bullet pattern...they are the cyan soul's... Remember how all the previous fallen humans had associated weapons you could find, which were referenced in the flowey fight as each soul came on screen? Also remember how the toy knife was moved to the extended ruins area in the 10th anniversary stream, which had an arrangement of the deltarune game over music? And in deltarune knives are associated with kris? Can anyone hear me?
There is 15 tomorrows til June 24th, the release date of deltarune chapter 5!
We're so fucking back, found out bc my friend who watched the direct told me
no guys….i’m so happy...for you…..i’m not jealous….at…..all……..
I'm sure there's something in how associated cats are with femininity and how willing people are to be extremely cruel to and about cats, but I can't quite put it into words. Like, joking about poisoning a dog or hitting a dog with your car is unacceptable, but people are far more comfortable 'joking' like that about cats.
Just been on my mind because a few years a ago a neighbours dog jumped our fence, dug into the chicken coop, and killed all our chickens which was absolutely devastating, but didn't inspire the extreme level of hatred people seem to have for cats. Idk.
Also, this post is specific to the UK. I don't know much about cat behavior internationally, but I do know people in the UK argue that they should be allowed to be cruel to cats because cats are bad for native wildlife (and I know that studies done on cat hunting behaviour in the UK like Lockwood, Bulling, and Huck 2025 show in the UK, statistically 3% of prey are red list birds, and 0.21% are European Conservation species. The vast Vast majority of prey are non-native 'pest' species, usually mice, brown rats, and grey squirrels). I'm pretty suspicious of this argument because, A) I don't think this is a valid argument for animal cruelty, and B) a similar, equally flawed argument could be made concerning the far worse and far more conclusively proven effect dogs have on uk-native ground nesting birds (even discounting dogs killing ground nesting birds, people walking dogs off the lead in areas like wetlands, moors, and the coastline has been very conclusively proven to prevent bird breeding, and has a very serious negative effect on conservation efforts).
I also have two well trained dogs, a cat, and seven hens (we buried a shit tonne of mesh skirt around their run after the incident with the neighbours dog).

The people online getting upset about the fascist rally in London being called far-right are high key super embarrassing. Like imagine being far right and a massive coward. Anyway, hope their Internet connection fails and they have to interact with reality for a while. Might make them less stupid.
