“I’m glad you were able to come with me, Sei~” Smiling as you walk hand in hand with the red-head, you head towards the entrance of the theme park. “Spending my day off with you is the best way to spend any of my time.” he says with a small smile. “That’s so sweet~” you say as you move closer to his side.
“Where to first?” He asks, once you both finish paying for your tickets. “I actually want to try the game booths first!” you point towards a basketball booth. With a simple nod, you walk up to the booth and observe an older couple receiving their prize. Once the man at the booth notices you two, he’s quick to sell you in on the game.
“You there! Want to have a go at it? Simply shoot the ball into the hoop a minimum of three times and you get a prize! You get five chances! Shoot the ball in five times and you win a grand prize! What do you say~?”
“I’m sold!” You step right up and pay the fee. Akashi watches as you do your best at aligning your shot, missing the first two time. You manage to score one ball in and then position yourself to try again. You perk up after scoring another. “I’m so close!” you look back at Akashi, seeing him give you a nod of acknowledgement. “Don’t lose focus.”
“Right!” You turn back to face your last shot. Taking a deep breath, you aim and then shoot. Surprisingly, making it in. “Yes! I did it!” You may not have won a grand prize, but shooting three times in a row felt great. After receiving your prize you walked up to Akashi to show off your reward.
“I’ll have a turn now.” Walking up to the booth, he picks up the ball. With only seconds between the shots, he skillfully makes in all five shots. He walks up to you with his grand prize, which is a giant version of your red little bird.
“Seems like you’re going to have to carry that around with us.” You couldn’t help but laugh a little at the size.
You both spend a lot of your time trying out all the booths. No surprise, Akashi was winning all of them. At one point, he had to call his chauffeur to pick up all of his prizes. As the sky begin to turn an orange hue, you feel a slight rumble in your stomach.
“How about we try the food now?” Akashi suggested. You nod with a little chuckle, feeling slightly embarrassed that he heard your stomach. You both walk up to a booth serving funnel cakes. Waiting eagerly in line, you think about what ride you want to get on first. You wondered if getting on a rollercoaster will show you a side of Akashi you have yet to see.
After ordering your funnel cakes and two drinks, you both take seat at a bench under a tree. “Thank you for the food” you say before breaking off a piece of the funnel cake and eating it. You hum in delight at the deliciousness that spreads throughout your mouth. As you continue to enjoy your fried goodness, you miss the way Akashi looks at you.
“Love, you have a little something on your face” he says as he reaches over to swipe off some crumbs at the corner of your lip. You blush bright as you cover your mouth to hide any other mess you have on your face.
“W-well, no one can eat funnel cakes without making a mess..!” As soon as you say that, you eye Akashi. Surprising, or not really, there wasn’t a drop of crumb anywhere out of place. Or so you thought. There was a speck of powder on his cheek that you wasted no time in wiping of with a napkin.
“Seems like the great Seijuro Akashi can be messy too~” you say with a grin. “Yes, well, at least I’m not as messy as you. You have something on your lips.”
Before you could pull away and attempt to wipe your mouth clean, you were caught off by surprise. Another pair of warm lips pressed against your own for a few seconds. He pulls away, looking at you with a self-confident grin. Though his expression falls into one of confusion as he watches you stifle a laugh. “What is so amusing to you?”
“I really did have something on my mouth” you say as you reach over and wipe his lips, “and you had it on you.” You let out a small laugh at the very light blush that tinted his cheeks. “Thank you.”
After trying out a few more food stalls, you realize it was getting dark. And after eating a certain something that didn’t really sit well with your stomach, you decide to avoid the intense rides.
“It seems like we will only have time for one ride. Which will it be?” he asks. After thinking for a minute, you decide on the Ferris wheel. No date is complete without the Ferris wheel.
Once you finally get your turn, you walk into the closed compartment. After Akashi pays the man, he gets inside and sits across from you. As the wheel begins to move, you watch as the lights of the park comes into view. Without realizing the eyes on you, your eyes look around the familiar places of the park.
“How can everything look so different at night? The lights sure give the park a different feel, huh?” You glance over at Akashi, now noticing that his eyes have been on you. “Wh-what?”
“You are right. The lights can sure bring out one’s beauty” he says with a small, gentle smile aimed towards your direction. You face begins to feel hot as his words hit you. Distracted, you didn’t realize that the Ferris wheel stopped with you on top.
In one quick and fluid motion, Akashi takes a step forward and envelops you in his arms. Pressing a gentle kiss against your lips, you find your confidence to return his affections.
After feeling time move again, the Ferris wheel does too. Once at the bottom, Akashi takes your hand into his and walks you out. Hand in hand, you both silently through the park until you reach the car. Opening the door for you, you get in with him following right after.
The ride home was quiet, but not unwelcome. While your fingers were intertwine, you lay your head against his shoulder as exhaustion begins to catch up. Once you arrive to your house, Akashi walks you to your door.
“Did you have fun today?” he asks.
“Of course. I got to spend it with you.”
“Sei, you’re going to make me blush again..!” You look down at the small bird plush you first won.
“I think a little red suits you well.” He leans in to kiss you one last time. “I’ll see you on Monday.”
“Alright~” You wish each other a good night and head your separate ways.
The next day, you’re greeted with a ton of boxes delivered to you. Upon opening one, you discovered that Akashi had sent you all of the prizes he won. Where am I going to put them all?
