can i get some more info on kreepus clowns? ive been curious.
Kreepus Clowns are excellent and loving pets. Many myths perpetrated about them can make them seem dangerous or threatening, but they are anything but! I’l debunk some myths and let you know why they exist.
1. Kreepus Clowns are dangerous
Kreepus clowns are no more dangerous than any other breed. They have intimidating markings and builds, yes, scare people, yes, but harm? Maim? No way! These are loving clowns who enjoy being scared and want to share that enjoyment with you. Kreepus clowns are usually depicted as feral or “killer” in media, and whilst this contributes to a harmful stereotype, it is very entertaining to watch! I’l explain more later.
2. Kreepus clowns are purely solitary
Nup! Kreepus clowns can thrive in a troupe, and get along well with most other clowns and humans. One of the reasons Kreepus clowns are so popular in the horror genre in because they are so easy to work with! They view each scene as an elaborate scare, and usually, producers will have another Kreepus clown on set, so that the starring one gives a more enriching performance! They also get on well with most other pets, though I have seen some videos where they can have fights with cats, so be careful.
3. Kreepus clowns can be traumatising to owners.
This one grinds me gears. A well trained Kreepus will scare their owner to whatever the set degree and parameters are, as established when first being trained. Kreepus clowns are one of the most intelligent breeds, and are highly responsive to their owner’s reactions. Kreepus clowns are known as a “cornerstone” troupe member: they stick to their place in a hierarchy and rarely branch outside of it, and this applies to owners. This myth is mostly perpetrated by people buying Kreepus clowns as a halloween “decoration” and not bothering to train them.
4. Kreepus clowns can live off of candy corn
They need a varied diet like any other clown. Candy corn is a treat, not a meal.
5. Kreepus clowns are bad with kids.
Nope! Many Kreepus clowns are considered “Nanny breeds.” They are very protective of their own chucklets, other clowns chucklets, and your “chucklets.” Their intimidation factor used to be prized for keeping away intruders, whilst still being excellent at looking after any kids left at home. They are just big, honking chickens really.
