Was inspired by the wonderful post by @hailed-marys so me and @sam-i-am-27 got possessed by the demons and came out with this. (NEXT)

* Astrophage is more like a virus that either alters people, causing them to commit crimes or violent acts, or a power that supervillains are starting to use.
* Grace is still a middle school teacher who got bitten by the spider, obviously.
* Adrian is the one who stitched up the suit (the Aunt May of this universe).
* He has all the perks of a normal Spider-Man, but he's still Grace, so he's incredibly clumsy. He does have a super-strong spider sense, and that's what saves him 100% of the time, but he absolutely does not have the agility. When adrenaline kicks in, he can do anything, but otherwise he'll trip over the most ridiculous things.
* He was wearing his yellow raincoat the first time he saved someone, so now he wears it over his suit (along with his white Converse).
* The spider was discovered by SHIELD (which is undercover as a scientific research facility that Grace works for part-time). After the original test subjects (who were only able to survive the spider mutations if they possessed a specific gene) were killed in an attack, Eva delivered the spider to Grace so he could be bitten before other villains got their hands on that power. (My boy gets unwillingly turned into a savior in every universe.)
* Simon is still an ex-convict who, in exchange for his freedom, is asked by the evil company of the day to test a series of mines infected by what appears to be blood from a meteorite (which eventually turns out to be the symbiote Ellie!).
* At first, they wanted to kill each other, but they end up becoming besties.

Ahah you thought it was gonna be a silly introduction? Well me and @sam-i-am-27 (who's writing a fic about it!) have been coocking some more loree. (PREV) I'll be drawing more scenes here on my blog.
I am definitely going to watch the movie, sure, but I had JUST finished the book so the emotions are still fresh and I haven't slept yet, and I haven't slept more than 4 or 5 hours for the past 3 days because I wanted to finish the book and Good Lord it was worth it. I also picked up knitting again to not just sit there doing nothing while I listen the audiobook, and in the last few chapters I just read along with the narrator. It was sooooo good, honestly. So. It's kinda a rant post, as I haven't posted here for a while since I forgot to do so / don't have much to post / busy irl. But! I realised that over the years (yeah, shocker, I know) that my TTS characters have existed for, they have changed, and the most recent change that I had made and (of course) didn't post about is my turtles' names and the overall lore behind their upbringing and dynamics between each other as siblings. (My English in the past was actually pretty bad, ngl)
Behold! I present to you the recent info abt the turtles of mine.
Info:
Nathaniel Riker (aka Nad) — The older brother of the family of 5 turtles (including himself). The provider / the protector of the family, being the one to find and take in the other turtles, accepting them as his siblings and responsibility. Though he is an older brother, he served more of a parental role to his younger siblings their whole lives, making sure that they were comfortable and happy, aware that they can always come to him if something happens. Had to grow up very, very early due to him living on the streets of the Hidden City, then additionally becoming a brother to Vincent (Noir in the past, early versions), and over time getting more people to take care of.
Nad

Vincent Riker (aka Vin / Vinnie) — The second oldest brother of the family of 5 turtles. The caretaker / the teacher, being the one to look after the younger siblings quite a good chunk of the day, teaching them the rules that were established in their family, and making sure that the others follow them. He always was the softer one in comparison to Nad, partially thanks to his older brother finding him pretty early in life, and from then on always keeping him around and safe. Because of Nad finding Vin pretty early in both of their lives, Vin got to learn quite a good piece of things and get to see the hardships that Nad had to go through just to get Vin to be safe and fed, while searching for shelter for the two of them. Vin was one of the family members to experience life of a street kid that was being taking care of by the other street kid that was only 4 months older than Vin himself. When Nad found Bill, Vincent could see just that his older brother was becoming a little desperate to find shelter for now three of them, but eventually he did find a place, as well as he found himself a job (ofc not legally, nobody's gonna employ a 11 year old Yokai boy). Vin pretty quickly taught Bill and later Sally and Sam how to clean the place and to keep quiet whenever Nad was sleeping, because Vin himself was always the one to notice and understand things.
Vin

William Riker (aka Bill) — The third oldest brother of the family of 5 turtles. The responsible one / the admirer, being the one to always follow the rules that Nad had established in their family, because of Bill being pretty much the last of their trio to experience life of a street kid and so being aware that the rules weren't added without a reason. He admires Nad, his older brother, with how strong he is in more than one way, and always looks up to him. Growing up, he was the one to quickly remind his younger siblings that they can't and shouldn't break the rules when the last two turtles were up to any mischief, so early on he was often called a partypooper. But that didn't stop him from snitching to any of his brothers available in the moment about the rule being broken, since he knew that breaking at least one of them is pretty bad, as the rules were pretty reasonable, after all, so breaking them was equal to putting themselves in danger. When they became older, Bill will always pull his younger siblings out of any crappy situation, and when he knew he couldn't do it himself, he'll call for his older brothers.

Saloméa Riker (aka Sally) — The middle sister of the family of 5 turtles. The brakes / the mood bringer, being the one to read the room and try and change the mood for the better, as well as to stop Sam from doing something entirely idiotic and outright dangerous. She was already the one to be taken in by Nad when the family already had a permanent shelter, so she didn't experience that much of a street kid life on her own, as she doesn't even remember that much of it anyway. She always liked when Nad played with them when they were younger, despite him coming back from work and jumping head first into his family's life, but Sally always had a feeling that her oldest brother was exhausted, yet still giving all of them his attention. So she learned very quickly that whenever Nad was asleep, they all need to keep it down, because of him needing to have some rest. Sure, she could and would sometimes cause mischief with her younger brother Sam, but it usually would've been pretty harmless, and she didn't see anything bad in breaking a rule or two that their family had, just to have some bit of fun. Until she learned the hard way why Nad had established them in the first place, and why Vin and Bill always told her to follow those rules. When she became older, she still would follow whatever rules her oldest brother had for them, despite being already a teenager.
Sally

Samuel Riker (aka Sam) — The youngest brother of the family of 5 turtles. The mischievous one / the trouble finder, being the one to always get into some sort of crappy situation because of him breaking rules that he thought were unnecessary. He was the last one found and taken in by Nad, also in the period when they already had the permanent shelter and had some stability in life thanks to Nad's efforts. Sam was always up to something, being pretty loud kid, even louder than Sally was before, and also pretty energetic, seeking out things to do. He learned to keep it down when Nad was asleep, but often forgot and became loud again, having to be reminded by his older siblings to be quiet. Sam always thought of Bill as a partypooper because he always snitched to Vin and Nad when Sam wanted to break a rule or two, unlike Sally, who agreed on some good bit of mischief, though also being the one to anchor Sam when he was going too far too fast. He still though of the main rule they had back when they were younger as something stupid and completely unnecessary, until one situation he'd gotten himself into, and even worse is that he'd gotten Sally into that as well. Sam thought of Nad as just a bit boring older kid, all until the situation, when Nad had to come to the rescue of his youngest two siblings. Sam didn't knew how Nad had found him and Sally, but he was thankful that his oldest brother did found them in time, as that day became the day when Sam finally realised that Nad was badass (in his young little mind). When they became older, Sam still knew better than to not listen to Nad, subsiding his mischievous behavior and starting to use his brain before doing something stupid. That didn't help that much, but it was still better than nothing.
