Pins are computational power-houses in humanity. While PoTs connect and merge with towers to make sure the towers themselves are maintained, Pins have a lot more freedom. While they might appear only around 7 feet tall, that is only the top half of their body. The bottom half is far longer, entangled below with the Wired. Mischievous, snarky, and quick-witted, Pins like to play with other intelligent being’s minds. As the most hyper intelligence species, if Humanity could even be called a species anymore, it’s really funny making fun of things that aren’t as smart as you. That’s not to say that Pins can’t be kind, Pins are usually grouped together with the kinder parts, such as the Tubed. “It’s all in good fun!” is a common statement, but they can appear very mean if not talk to face-to-face. Something about not respecting non-facial communication, Pin stuff. 

Fun fact! Some Pins do not believe in Point of View, or POV.

Part of Tower or PoTs are like regulators. Humanity and all its moving pieces needs humans that can maintain the health of the towers. Acting as a sort of kidney, PoTs actually infuse themselves into the tower. Don’t worry, this process is painless and effective. While starting out as a separate individuals PoTs will eventually fuse together. This is painless, but the process of separation (let’s say for Assignment purposes) is. Most PoTs stay as PoTs, although about 30% do assign into other parts. This is better than the Wired ~1.39% re-assign rate. Unlike the Wired, PoTs are mostly immobile and asleep. Finishing work while asleep is far easier than staying awake and having to deal with the Wired.
