After much debate and thought, I decided to try a [period?] Cup. I went with Lena and their customer service is great (they emailed me after my purchase to follow up). Anyway, despite not thinking the cup would be able to go in, it did quite easily. It felt weird at first, like a pressure but eventually just normal. Keep in mind I'm trying this at home. However, taking the thing out? That's another story. I thought I was going to have to call for help. So if you have any experience on such item, please share.

About two months ago I was going to delete this blog and close this chapter of my social media life. Except I went through my archives and was like no I can't let this go. So I've just been pretty much quietly observing and liking here and there. They removed the comments so now it's like the old days of reblogging which is amusing but I feel weird just reblogging. I don't know. So I decided this will be my space of occasional word vomit and other insignificant stuff. And I kind of like this idea. It's like life going full circle with this "blog."

It's been over a year since I last posted and to be quite honest, up until a few weeks ago - i almost forgot this existed. Sorry? I've been using ig as my primary social media habit. Anyway, fun stuff. I got married this year which is great and weird. Like sometimes you almost forget you're married until someone mentions it. "Oh Married life is great." But really it's the same except finally your family respects your privacy and your need not to visit every week. This year I feel like I'm really living my life. I know it's a weird statement but I don't feel like I'm just working or not understanding my daughter or waiting for something to happen. I'm doing what I like to do and enjoying my family at the same time. This just means that I don't cook as often or do laundry. Seriously, who has time for it? My daughter turns 10 tomorrow and it's scary that she's that age now but I'm excited. I've grown a great love for her and look forward to guiding her in this weird time (puberty, boys, etc). So I guess this is all to say I became an adult this year. Well, mostly.

It's been over 5 months...

Since I last posted.  I don't even understand how that much time past but it did.  As of late I mostly give a tweet here and there and post on ig (mmchristy29).  However, here are a few updates that I couldn't quite put a picture on.

I still work out, not as much as I would like to but I get it in (at the gym) at least a good 3 times a week and 5 if I'm lucky (I'm an asshole I know but key word was lucky).

My friends wedding was great. It was horrible leading up to her bachelorette party because of a crazy SIL but it all worked out well.

I got a position change at my job which I didn't think about applying for at first.  So that was cool.

I'm still not as positive as I would like to be (oh well)

My phone fell and died on me on my birthday.  I couldn't even transfer my files onto a computer and my SD card corrupted so two years of pictures, videos, ebooks are gone.  Although I thought of transferring my files before my mini tragedy, like most things I put it off.  I'm still pretty sad about that.

I bought my daughter her first training bra and I don't know if I should cry every night in a corner since now I'm going through this phase of motherhood or shoot myself in the head.

Common core standards people can kiss my ass.  

Here's a secret (that's not a secret now): I went through a really rough patch or as people call it a break up. And now make up.  Or something.  It was fun.  By fun I mean horrible but I'm still fabulous so that's what counts, right?

That sums the last 5 months.  Hopefully I can "blog" more often.  Or I'll just peek through again for summer.  How have you guys been?

Progress

It's been almost 5 weeks since I started my journey in health/fitness. Fitness was never really a goal when I began but I have to say, in the last 2-3 weeks I feel the best I have in almost 9 years (just about the time I started working full time and especially after I had my daughter). I don't feel disgustingly tired throughout the day like I used to - despite the amount of sleep I would try to get or feel sluggish.  I also feel more mellow.  So I guess it's true what they say - people who work out are happier.  It's just weird not being negative all the time.  It's weird not getting mad as fast as I used to and weird that I was upset as much as I was.  

I used to think that once I lost the weight I gained 2 years ago I would be satisfied and that would be it. But now that I have, I know that it's just a small part of my journey and I'm excited to see what limits I can take myself and how much better I could be overall.

Hello Tumbl World

I just realized it's been over a month I posted and over two weeks since I have even logged on.  Sure, I could download the app but I don't feel like it. Anyway, I joined a gym a little over 2 weeks ago because I was just tired of hating myself and decided instead I should pay to get tortured.  And it's been really fun.  However, now that I go to the gym 3 times a week before 6 am means my ass is asleep by 10:15am.  I sometimes also go in the afternoons so that their trainers could look at me in disgust and offer me more free sessions.  Hence reason for not even trying to stay up and check what you guys are up to.

I'm also trying to do this thing called living a positive life.  I haven't gotten there 100% but I'm on my way.  Having gratitude and stuff, even transitioning to clean eating.  I'm basically everything I never expected myself to be ever.  

Other things have been going on in life but I will leave that for another post. I also use instagram and twitter more often.  So if you want to stalk me, you can catch me there.

My bff is getting married in a few months and dresses will be red.  I should be trying to lose some weight (because of pictures) or at the very least tone (oh the pictures that will be taken) but instead I've been having the time of my life this summer.  Time including much eating.  So far this has been a summer of:

crispy chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo and pepperjack cheese

chips and guac

chips and salsa

fried chicken

pizza 

carnita tacos

chicken tacos

mangu

I guess I should join a gym or you know, come to terms that I will be looking like a balloon.

Consistently Not Making Sense

I have to pay back two student loan organizations and every month I forget my login information.  I mean, EVERY MONTH.  It would make sense to write the damn information down but I guess it's too much like right.

So here I sit trying to figure out my passwords and username before resetting my shit as always.
