ramblings below the cut!

Hey guys, it’s been a while!  First of all, thank you guys for the birthday wishes that I received <33 I decided to spend my birthday at home with my family instead of going out and celebrating, so it made it a little less loney! c: Second of all, I hope all of you are doing okay!! I’m fortunate enough that I’m staying with my family, who still have their jobs, so I won’t have to worry about food or shelter.  I know that’s not the case for a lot of people and I pray that things will get better soon. Other than posting art there isn’t really anything else that I can provide for you guys, so I will continue posting normally and hope that it will atleast act as some destraction from what’s going on. Stay safe everyone!!

Quick sketch for my own birthday today <3

Tl;dr: From the bottom of my heart.. thank you, really.  I’m a mess of a human so  ramblings under the cut

First of all, I think I owe all of you a sincere apology for making that post. This is an art blog, I should treat it as such. People don’t follow art blogs to listen to someone’s insecurities and.. I want to keep this blog as positive as I can, no matter what happens in my life. A lot of people browse tumblr to have a small break from the stress of daily life, I really don’t want to ruin that.  So getting all these messages really touched me, even if I feel guilty for making you guys worry enough to go out of your way to encourage me.  Please allow me to be a bit selfish today and tell you why I’ve decided to take atleast a small break from personal art: I might be a bit burned out;  I’ve been drawing everyday now, making art for zines, for my college portfolio, for my sketchbook and for personal art as stress relief as well.  All of this has been making me question the quality of my artworks, be it as part of a zine, as a college application or as simple fanart of my favourite characters. I will not go further into how I currently view my art, your messages have shown me that even if I think it’s deeply flawed, you guys don’t think so.  If you enjoy my art, that’s all that matters to me, as cheesy as that sounds. I’m not sure I deserve all of the praise you guys sent me, but I will listen to your advice and hope that my hand will catch up with my art eye eventually! Again, thank you all for your words of encouragement, I will try my best to not let you or myself down in the future after my short break<3
