It’s not something I typically do, but when I do vague it’s meant as a way of trying to get a person to see I’m upset because I’m too spineless to say things that upset people. Things like “I’m really upset over this” or “I wish you wouldn’t do that”.

I’d never dream of insulting anyone, because it drives me into a panic whenever I see mean ones and I can’t logically deduce if I had done something that upset them.

I'm more so talking about vague posts that are maybe a couple of lines long, contain a harmful message that's potentially guilt trippy or something. That's awful.

Making a vague post like "I'm sorry" or "I'm upset" or even a simple thanks isn't too bad in my personal opinion.

I'm against making these types of posts complaining about the fandom ect. but i can't bear to ignore this tumblr culture any longer.

Keep in mind that this kind of behaviour can and will lead to me to stop respecting or listening to you and your opinions all together.

Vague posts

Fuck that. “We all know who it is”, “You know who you are”

Not only is that cowardly, as opposed to talking to the person straight up about it, but if those vague posts are talking negatively about or to someone, it can make people paranoid. It’ll cause anxiety and possibly trigger some PTSD, which is just cruel, honestly.

Oh and if you have attempted to send me asks before, chances are that they might not have gone through because either tumblr is being unreliable, as usual or i might’ve blocked you already.

I don’t block a lot of people, i find that censoring people’s opinions is very counter productive and you’re effectively ignoring the other side of the coin, the opposite side of the argument. I’ll disagree with people, for sure but usually what it takes for me to block you is:

Copious amounts of shitposting (bonus points if you go out of your way to put it in the tag)

Dismissive attitude, ignoring the argument to which you oppose and consider yourself to be right no matter what anyone else says. I see no reason for me to try and understand your part of the argument if you refuse to understand the other.

Consistently angered or ‘edgy’. You’re inclined to have your own opinion, just don’t be a complete ass about it.

Forcing your ship, your ideals ect. down other people’s throats. Similar to the above. Your opinion is fine as long as you’re reasonable and mature about it.

Discriminating others and holding a grudge (and making it obvious in your tweets/tumblr posts). People change. That’s a fact. You’re not helping them change by holding something against them that they did a while ago. If they get over it, so should you.

I think that’s about it. The reason why i block off this kind of behavior (usually temporarily) is because i find it childish and useless, thus i won’t listen to, respect or even acknowledge your opinion until you’ve learned some basic manners.

Here’s a good way to tell if you’re biased opinion is cruel and unneeded.

Try reversing your sentence.

Let’s say that i really love bread, okay? Just an example. Bread is what i live for. My favorite thing every, by far.

But i hate carrots. It makes me sick just looking at them.

So if i ever go to make a post about why carrots are the worst thing ever i’ll end up typing something like.

"It really grinds me gear how many people love carrots, i don’t understand it at all, i hate the way they taste and if you love carrots i hate you."

Let’s try and reversing the sentence.

"It really grinds me gear how many people love bread, i don’t understand it at all, i hate the way it tastes and if you love bread i hate you."

Now, i as a religious bread lover, would be rather offended by this. So why would i say something like this about carrot lovers if i don’t like people saying this kind of stuff about my precious bread?

All right, but if you’re gonna re-post art without a source, at least be honest about it instead of making the description of your post something along the lines of “OMG NO CHILL, I LOVE ALL CAPS” that’s honestly a bit cringe worthy.

And don’t go overboard with the tags when you’re tagging art that doesn’t even belong to you.

The worst part is that i feel like i know/knew the artist of that one piece of un-sourced work that’s going around.

SHIPPING HATE IN THE CP FANDOM MUST BE STOPPED

A couple of months ago I never ever would have guessed that the Corpse Party fandom was the kind of fandom that threw shade at each others shippings. But how wrong I was. Now I think most of you are going to think;

why does this chick bring up this subject??

Because the way people treat not only each other but their shippings is rude and disrespectful.

The wonderful thing about shipping is that people can come together and talk about something they are really passionate about. For me shipping is a way to find new friends here on the internet and I have always enjoyed it.

But it has it’s bad sides, and that’s the haters. Now I don’t think anyone like when people throw shade at your ship and especially when that particular shipping is a ship that you love and support with all your heart. 

But it doesn’t mean that you also haft to send hate.  Saying that “oh but they started it, they are the ones hating on us !! ! ” is a weak excuse for doing the same to them. Throwing shade at people for what they ship is a stupid thing, not only do you prove yourself to be a moron but also a childlish person who apparently haven’t learned some manners. (sorry if i’m being harsh but it’s fucking ridiculous how some of you behave) Now it is okay to dislike a shipping, I mean I do have my notps but that doesn’t mean that going into their tags, and post hate is going to solve the problem.

Instead of tagging hate, or posting hate in general on tumblr you can:

1. Talk to one of your friends irl, or on private messages about that shipping. If you feel like you haft to let it out then please I can’t stop you. But DO NOT POST IT SO THAT EVERYONE SEE. And if you haft to mention that shipping write it like ay*ushik*i or something because then it will not be mentioned in the tag.

2. Instead of posting it on tumblr then maybe take a piece of paper and write down all the reasons why you hate that shipping. Maybe you can get some of that anger out of your system. I’ve done it and believe me it works brilliantly.

3. Ignore those people who like a certain ship that you don’t, blacklist a tag, try to avoid it as much as possible if it’s that horrible

But the most important thing is do not ship hate when those who love that ship can see it. It will only worsen the wars. if you like ayushiki, mayusige, satoshiki, kurozami, seinao, morishiki, seishiki or any other ship doesn’t matter! You are entitled to like what ever ship you want but PLEASE DO NOT POST IT SO THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE IT.

If you are still going to send each other hate them I will not hesitate to unfollow and block you.
