I'm deeply disappointed with the finale of Stranger Things.

I'm disappointed about the responses from the Duffer Brothers.

I'm disappointed about the way the queer characters were handled. (the lack of Vickie & the implied breakup & Will's love interest appearing for .5 seconds)

I'm disappointed about how El's story ended.

I'm disappointed about how many plot points were either dropped or left unanswered. (ex. Nov. 6th being the day everything started, Vecna and Will sharing a birthday, Henry going to high school with Joyce and Hopper, the pregnant women in the lab, etc.)

I'm disappointed about the fact that a show all about the outcasts and the freaks boiled down to "actually conformity is great and exactly how life should be."

I'm disappointed about how there were never any real stakes and how they somehow managed to defeat the two BIGGEST villains in the span of 15 minutes.

But mostly, I'm disappointed that a show that I've watched and supported for years ended on such a terrible note that I don't think I can even bring myself to rewatch knowing how it all ends.

So thank you, Duffer Brothers, for ruining the finale of a show that I've been invested in for 10+ years of my life.
