I’m actually shocked they addressed Chat Noir/Adrien character issues. I mean.. wow. Chat Noir/Adrien finally got fed up with lack on information on things and feeling left out of the superhero business.

Even more so, he told Plagg that no one would care if he suddenly stopped being Chat Noir. Like that was some deep, unanswered stuff brewing under the surface.

LET’S NOT FORGET TO MENTION WE FINALLY SEE SOME NON-COMEDIC HEART-TO-HEART WITH PLAGG AND ADRIEN.

Plagg isn’t a character that really focuses on emotional support like Tikki to Marinette, so seeing this serious side of him shows that he cares about Adrien beyond the ring and powers and the “getting fed” gag.

Honestly I feel Adrien/Chat character development issues are pushed to the side or glazed over. I honestly expected that this episode... up until he WAS taking the ring off.
