A 14 year old girl named Rue is given the chance to become a hero and wear the mantle of the past hero, Paris’ beloved hero Ladybug
The problem is that Rue isn’t like the sweet Marinette that others knew and treats the whole thing like a joke but is too empathetic to give this burden to another.

The love interest is a combination of all the arrogant/charismatic assholes in anime I grew up watching
Think Grimmjow from Bleach, Gilgamesh from Fate, and any other assholes you can’t help but love
Who would you imagine Rue being voiced by?
Finding a voice for Rue would be hard since the type of voice I hear when I draw her is a deep voice but if I had to choose than ironically Cristina Vee when she voiced Homura from Madoka Magica, would be a good choice for Rue though in a lower pitch
For French dub, then whoever did Shadybug’s voice in the Paris special

As mentioned before, Elios is Rue's father and Marinette's husband.
He is very protective of the two and his soon to be second child.
As a café owner, he uses it to both keep an eye on Marinette as to not over work herself but to also to hear gossip of her old friends
He cut back on smoking since Marinette got pregnant again but has moments of smoking mostly on his breaks at the cafe
Elios also knows about Marinette being Ladybug and Rue being Jester to which he reveals at the Season 1 finale

More info about Rue's personality
As we know, Rue's very closed off to all that isn't her close friends (Cantarella and Uriel) or family (Marinette and Elios) but I've mentioned before that she use to have Marinette's personality when she was little but as she grew up, she took noticed at how the world works and slowly she started to lose that optimistic world view to the one she has now.
But even then, a small piece of her child self remained deep in her heart that cause her to continue being "Jester" despite wanting nothing out of being a hero.
As the story goes, Rue will go through her arc of seeing the good in people again and trust those around her once again, since the akuma to really kick start her arc is Uriel's "Director Drama"

All I'm going to say is that he's going to a mix of an asshole, an ally of the Kingdom/ soon to be traitor, and still going to be one of the most tolerable person in her group of friends

A day in Rue's Life as a Hero/Ballerina

Rue starts her day by waking up at maybe 5 or 6 am to do her morning stretches which included ankle warmups, stretches, and sewing her new pairs of pointe shoes before going jogging
By close to 7 am, does she eat breakfast which was a glass of orange juice and blueberry pancakes with yogurt so when 8 comes, Rue's already on her way to school curtesy of Canatrella picking both her and Uriel up
From 8 am onward, Rue prayed that an akuma doesn't happened but alas by lunch, Ariette causes an akuma and Rue hides away to transform in Jester to handle it during the panic.
The akuma doesn't get defeated until 3 to which Rue quickly rushes to her ballet class. So from 4 to 7 she does her ballet routine until she heads home.
By 8 pm, Rue has dinner with her family before getting her recovery and rest as she gets ready for bed

Marinette Dupain-Cheng:
The leading lady and the mother of Rue, Marinette in the story is currently pregnant with her second child, Rue's soon to be little sibling. Which was the driving force of her decision on both giving Rue the miraculous and to try fix their relationship but in the end they both went badly
Throughout S1 of the story, Marinette will act as her role of guardian while also trying to work up the courage again to face her mistakes and past friends but most of all she’s scared to face Adrien again after the so many years
As guardian of the miracle box, Marinette keeps eyes out for potential heroes (Canatrella and Uriel) or making power ups for Rue but most of all she’s keeping an eye out for who would be her daughter’s Chat Noir (Rue’s love interest) all while patiently waiting for her baby’s arrival (Foreshadowing)

Another fact about Elios is that he is very protective of his wife and daughter.. So when Rue began her double life as Jester and Marinette’s old friends comes back to try and reconcile, he’s not particularly happy about and doesn’t want his wife to be upset or afraid to talk with her old friends
The same could be said about Rue with Ariette, Elios is not easily intimidated by money
Adult designs for Marinette, Felix and Kagami are in the works along with Elios’ design

I know i already did this but i decided to also do Emma's version(early S1)
I feel like Rue would find Emma find first. Emma would directly get in a fight an akuma as her heroic instincts will kick in and Rue would have to save her.
Rue and Emma interactions will be interesting. Not only are their personalities very different, one was forced on to be a hero while the latter actively chose it. Also there is Marinette. I feel like Emma would resent Rue for how she treats with her Marinette while Emma still grieves for her own. Tho Emma would defo help Rue jump on Ariette. Its on sight.
@whiterosequeen23 let me know what you think. What would Rue think of Emma?

Rue thinks of (early S1) Emma as both an annoying little sister but also someone who (in her mind) still has on rose tinted glasses on how the world works and how her parents were. She does sympathizes and understands with Emma’s grief of her Marinette but even then she needs to make decisions either of them can’t swallow. But Rue thinks Emma does have the drive to be a better hero than her
Rue would gladly take the help with Ariette and maybe teach Emma some ballet moves

Marinette flinched hard at the blunt words from her.. future daughter.. She doesn’t even know what to think
“W-Well, how do you expect me to react huh!” Marinette tried to sound tough before withering when Rue glared at her.
How was this her daughter? What happened in the future to have a daughter that distrust her own mother?
“You could have faced the consequences head on and not have lied about a dead man..” Rue countered while stepping closer to her mother
“All this could have been avoided if you just been honest and not fulfill a dead man’s promise.. You would still have your friends, your life.. your relationship with Agreste..”
Marinette shrinks more and more as Rue drove into her and strip away any excuse she would have before feeling tears burned her eyes
Because in a way with how Rue described her future life.. She’s not wrong in being distrustful of her
“But.. I will say other than your poor decision and misplaced judgement.. You are a great mother and dare I say.. a great mentor..”
Hearing that does make Marinette feel a bit better

When Marinette found out that she was pregnant again.. She panicked.. badly
She thought back to when she first got pregnant with Rue, how excited she and Elios was for their first child..
But now look at her and Rue’s relationship, her daughter won’t even look at her unless it’s to help defeat an akuma or else she gets mad and they both would need Elios to meditate
She had originally hoped that their relationship would improve by the time the baby comes but.. Marinette has learned not to have so much hope for something that she destroyed
