I LOVE YOU Always Forever

Wedding anniversaries celebrate marriage; and while Marc & Ed are definitely the center of this golden event, we wanted to find a way to thank and celebrate everyone sharing this special day with us.

A few weeks before the anniversary party, we reached out to all of our invited guests who are still married, newly married, have celebrated big milestone anniversaries, etc., and we asked them to send us their wedding photos, and to indicate the year and city/country in which they were married.  

We received almost 40 wedding photos. That means, of our 130 guests (98 adults, 26 kids/teens, 4 babies), 80 of the adults are still married--to each other! That’s definitely something to celebrate.  

We arranged these wedding photos into a special slideshow that opens by remembering Marc & Ed’s parents and their marriages--Inkong Lucerio & Apu Baring married in 1915; and Lolo Ando & Lola Dora married in 1935. And then we feature the marriages of our guests in chronological year order from 1955 thru 2016. In total this video slideshow celebrates over 100 years or 10 decades or an entire century of marriages across our extended family and friends. It’s turned out really cool.  

After testing out several songs for the soundtrack, one song seemed to naturally fit. It even opens with dramatic acapella and builds to a perfect rhythm brining all of the still wedding photos to life. The song is Betty Who’s cover of “I LOVE YOU Always Forever” (originally sung by Donna Lewis).

If you did not have a chance to send us your wedding photo, it’s not too late to make it into the video. UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO and list names/year/city married, by March 15th. I’ll edit the video to include additional wedding photos received, and I’ll upload the final version here on this site.
