Denting Dalam Bising 2017 - Mira Rizki

The understanding of the environmental conditions which gained by playing is embodied in the process of sound exploration through this interactive installation. The play involves the appreciators to create the feeling of respecting the presence of ‘the others’ and understand the surrounding environment. Those thoughts arose in the author’s mind to respond the phenomenon of the information that can not be ascertained as a result of the information accumulation through the latest technology.

By presence directly in the environment is expected to dispel the doubts because what happened was experienced and believed by our own perspective. Achievement of interaction and understanding of the environment in this piece is a manifestation of play in the advanced stage, where the sound exploration process as a means of contemplation in realizing what is happening and present in our environment.

Berak Beriak Tanda Tak Dalam, sebuah ekstensi dari peribahasa “Air Beriak Tanda Tak Dalam”. Berdasarkan maknanya, usahan apapun yang dilakukan sama sekali tidak membuahkan hasil, namun hanya memperburuk keadaan. Tetapi jika tidak melakukan apapun juga hanya akan memberikan hasil yang sama. Karya ini terinspirasi dari karya prosa milik Afrizal Malna yang bertajuk ‘Kesibukan Mengakhiri Diri’.
