Green leaves swayed in the humid air as a woman donning a white bra and a beach skirt walked through the thicket; towel and umbrella in hand. It was a bright, sunny day and she knew the perfect spot to spend it at. Past the jungle lied a small patch of sand along the coast; a small private beach for her to get away from all of the noise of her day-to-day life. It was a bit of a walk, but the tedium would be rewarded once she reached her destination.
…Or it would have been, had she not slipped into a muddy ravine, dropping all of her belongings into the gross muck with her.
“Aaaaegh! What the-“
Her sandals plunged into the ground as her stuff landed around with a gross splat. Instinctually, she tried to lift her feet, but the mud had already wrapped itself around her legs. A chill ran up her body as the cold swamp pressed against her thighs. She was trapped.
Leaning forward, she felt the wet mud spread across her midriff; a brown coat gleaming off of her stomach in the sunlight. As sticky and gross as her predicament was; the cool mud felt awfully soothing in the intense heat. It felt like she was slowly being pulled into a spa bath, her curvy frame being painted in the wet soil.
Ah, I need to stay focused! she snapped back to her dire situation. She was surrounded by muddy walls; even if she was close enough to get a good grip, it would only help so much. Still, she wiggled her hips against the mud, lathering her skirt in the slurry as she tried to inch closer to the edge. The bog gurgled in response, taking her past her belly button. She thrusted harder, but its grip was too tight.
A chill ran up her spine. Isn’t this really deep for a mud pit? She looked down as watched as her torso slowly sank into the ground. Terror struck her.
“H-hello?! Is anyone out there?! I’m sinking in quicksand!!”
Her voice echoed through the palm leaves that swayed indifferently in the breeze. No response. A wet sensation reached her rib cage as she wriggled helplessly in the mire. The heavy weight of the mud pressed again her stomach and as she sank it became harder to breath.
“Anyone?! Please- please help!!”
But there was no one to answer her pleas. Only the vibrant jungle isolated from her town. The perfect vacation spot, sheltering her from any would-be rescuer. The creamy mess finds its way to her breasts as she struggles; her cheeks feel warm.
Finally, after sinking all the way down to her neck, her descent began to slow. There was still no bottom to be found as she tried pushing off the ground again. Her sandals were throughly suctioned into the mud, rendering her helpless. She could hardly breathe under the thick weight of the quicksand pressing down on her chest.
The light reflecting off the leaves above her turn from yellow to red as the sun sank into the horizon. Her heartbeat finally slowed as the air turned cold. No one was around to find her, and she had nothing to pull herself out with. There was no escape.
