Most of you know the site, where we came from and what it stood for. It started with Reflex Sims and then it became Black Pearl Sims (BPS) then finally, SimPearls. We were a File Share Friendly community against paid sites! Our beloved site has always been a safe haven for our members, share CC, join contests and be with friends...Until now! The site has changed hands and the site that was so loved, has become a nightmare! Advent has always been such a wonderful time. Resident Designers and members sharing gifts...but this year, under new Admins, it became anything but Holly or Jolly! szanne7000 (Admin) decided she wanted to bring in Patreon designers...give them the spotlight and kick the RD and members gifts to the side. Advent Day 1, @deatherella and I were mentioned at the bottom of the Advent post...and links (at that time) went nowhere. I messaged szanne7000 and told her I was confused as to what happened with Advent, why we were not included. I sent her several messages about how wrong it all was, that she invited Patreon and DOXXERS into the site that has always been against it...She would not listen! Other Designers and members started speaking up and she still would not listen! She supports ALL of these Patreon creators she has invited! She never once talked to us RD or Staff about her plans...she went rogue! I stepped down as a member of Staff and demanded that my Resident Designer section be deleted! I, in no way, would ever want anyone to ever believe I had anything to do with what has happened! I am disgusted with what has happened and what is continuing to happen! SimPearls is loosing more staff, designers and members because of this! A beloved member, Designer, had her entire existence deleted from the site...like she was never there. Everything! Years of posts, CC, contests...EVERYTHING! Just gone! In short...I will not support a site that is run like this, under the rule of a tyrant! I will not be a part of the destruction of what once was a beautiful site formally known as SimPearls!

Well it seems that my messages from the post are “hidden, blocked or removed” - don’t really know why cause all I said was that this situation is very sad.

I don’t agree with this kind of stuff - patreons or paid walls for items. Was always a creator with free content and will always stay that way.

I enjoyed sharing and make people happy - that’s what Sims is about.

Hello, lovely Simmers!

I’m Sandy and I’m running Around the Sims 4, a site with CC for Sims 4, mostly objects, though there’s also few pieces of clothing or make-up here and there! :)

Meet Sim-Sandy!

I’m also running Around the Sims 3… and Around the Sims 2, and Around the Sims… Because, yes, I’ve been creating custom content for the Sims forever. So long ago that some of you weren’t even born when I released my first set. Phew! I feel like a dinosaur! :D

The weirdest thing, I think, is that I was SO enthusiastic about creating stuff I could use in my game, that I actually started making stuff for Sims 1 even before I got the game (I was expecting the french Mac release, that occurred several months after the US Windows release. Oh yes, if you hadn’t guessed from my weird syntax, you would have from my accent, but you can’t hear it so..; I’m french!). Of course, none of my first CC was usable in game because I had no idea of what I was doing, but it says a lot about my addiction at creating CC! :D

[The Sims 3] Mel’s Fence Set

The first set is a request for @desiree-uk. Fence and 1 and 2 tile gates reconstructed from a retaining wall from Simsimillian at MTS.

Second are wall moldings that I made into fences that sit on the wall. They have a tiny dot on the beginning and end of the fence line for selecting. It works like the curbs that @grandelama has made. Also made an end post for them that you can place best with ‘moveobjects on’.

Next up is a lattice fence. I would have preferred it to be a repeating fence with no post but I remember why I didn’t finish it. The pattern was being a pain. Anyways,I still use it so have fun with it.

And lastly, is the Dead Hedge that came with The Now and Then Century Manor Lot and Set. As you may know I can’t stand for things to not be recolorable (main reason I don’t play TS4)……..I’m being lazy here……..I remade the fence for myself and didn’t make it a default. I’m not remaking it but am sharing. So here go. 

The uv mapping is the best I could get for most everything. A lot of this is adapted from other objects and so ‘it is what it is’.
