Why are people still ranting about Tauriel?

The movies have been made. Tauriel has gotten an overwhelming positive response. Evie has been nominated for an award. People have made cosplays, fanarts and the works. 

Yet Kiliel shippers are "prats" and Tauriel "doesn't exist". That's what these people see.

Yet what I see are dipshits who think it is ok to tag their hate. You're no better than the rest of us just because you have read the book. Don't go policing people on how to be a part of the fandom. That's a seriously dick move. I mean seriously, if you have a negative opinion about Tauriel, don't tag it, it's not that hard, otherwise you're just pissing off a large group of people who go to this tag to appreciate her. 

Tauriel is my goddess, and haters can go cry me a river.
