Mordred is 100% my favorite Merlin BBC character. Like whole heartedly, I HATED him at first. Truly HATED him. Then I read this one (two technically, it's a series) TRULY BEAUTIFUL fic ('The magic of friendship' by BabyStepsAreStillSteps) and it's changed my entire perspective on the POTENTIAL BBC Merlin had with Morded and Merlin. Could you imagine, Merlin and Mordred using their stupid mind link for stupid pranks on the knights of the Round table. I would have loved these two to have a much closer relationship. Like I get the whole "Arthur's bane" bs and shit, like bc of Merlin's paranoia Mordred turned evil and shit and killed Arthur wtv idc. I think at least a scene or two of amazement because (as far as I can tell) Emrys is like a God to the Druids and Mordred was raised in Druid culture, I think that would be cool to see from an older Mordred. ALSO!! I think SEEING more of the Druid culture from Mordred, and him having to explain it to the knights, AT LEAST once would be really cool IG. Idk, I really like Mordred's character and I think he had so much potential
