hello   all   !!   first   off   i’d   like   to   slip   in   a   real   canadian   sorry   for   my   inactivity.   its   my   first   year   as   a   phd   student   and   grading   papers   while   also   trying   to   do   my   own   research   is   a   f**king   mission.   this   week,   i’m   going   to   take   time   to   reset.   hopefully   by   sunday   i’ll   feel   more   refreshed   and   excited   to   write.   but   lately,   i’ve   just   been   feeling   really   foggy   and   unmotivated.   most   of   my   brain   power   is   bing   used   for   school   -   i   cant   wait   to   come   back   and   explore   writing   that’s   fun   for   the   purpose   of   being   fun.   replies   are   drafted   and   i   promise   i   will   do   my   best   to   get   to   them   as   soon   as   possible.   if   anyone   would   like   my   discord,   hmi   !!

         Inner   ear   twitches   to   the   sound.   It   is   sweet   and   thumping   with   such   precision.   “You   speak   so   poetically,”   the   brunette   shifts   on   long   legs   to   take   a   seat   next   to   him   much   like   a   moth   would   to   a   flame.   It   brings   her   some   form   of   comfort,   maybe,   to   be   so   close   to   the   sound   of   a   heart   beat.   “I’m   not   sure   I   know   of   much   innocence   anymore.   Ignorance   -   perhaps   I’m   guilty   of   from   time   to   time.”

◤  ┅   ❝  that’s LIKE- kinda harsh considering i’m bleeding.  ❞   shaggy’s bloody brow scrunches in confusion but soon he’s hissing due to aggravating his wound. no matter how many years his parents threw him in gymnastics in hopes it would remove some of his clumsiness, he still ended up faceplanting the floor on the way into work. another hiss leaves his lips as the other begins to help patch him up. 

      Her   own   brows   pinch   together   in   apparent   frustration.   To   the   unseeing   eye,   perhaps   the   doe   eyed   brunette   hates   the   sight   of   it.   Would   be   an   easy   enough   excuse   -   for   one   to   shy   away   in   the   face   of   gore   (   no   matter   how   mild   ).   Upon   realizing   how   rude   her   comment   was,   Maryam   shrugged   shoulders   in   a   false   attempt   at   breath;   “I’m   sorry   -   I,”   lips   rub   together   in   lack   of   an   answer.   Fumble.   “Blood   freaks   me   out.   I   didn’t   mean   to   be...   harsh.   Are   you   okay?”
