So I finally took the 4x5 for a spin.

Crop update: So there was a heat wave, and subsequently the barley and the buckwheat ripened like lightening. I was thinking there’d be a fall harvest for the barley., but I guess the weather had other plans. I ended up harvesting my friend’s barley for him, which was frustrating since he didn’t weed it and it was heavily crowded with ragweed. I am very allergic to ragweed. This wasn’t helped by the fact that I was stuck using a dull corn sickle. So pictures are of the harvest, after being separated, the new rows of buckwheat which are beastly as fuck, and the flax. In other news, I now have two papaya plants, two indigos, and a healthy 1/3 of the tobacco I am intent on growing.
