THE HERETIC CHILD: Powder and Viktor

I've been giving a lot of Vi lore lately, so it's Powder's turn! Her first few nights with him were plagued with hallucinations of her last encounter with Vi, and while Viktor may not see what she sees, he knows her fear is very real, and he'd be damned if he didn't try to comfort her. He isn't perfect; Powder is the first cub he has interacted with for a VERY long time, but for Powder, he's perfect and so much more

(This is before Jayce and Viktor's relationship. oh my god they were roommates lab partners)

This happens right after Vi and Ekko fight. In Heretic Child, Vi and Sevika are close. Not bff close, but their relationship is more equal when compared to Jinx in the canon universe. Sevika is the only familiar face in Silco's pride, so she gravitates towards her, even if she hates to admit it. The first time Vi slept next to Sev was after her fight with Ekko, and she just wanted to be comforted.

Of course, she wouldn't be comforted by Sevika, but her warmth was enough. Sev may be cold but she isn't cruel, and didn't chase Vi away. Now they ALWAYS sleep together.

This isn't a romantic relationship, but more of a "this is miserable, but it's our shared misery.” Suddenly, Vi was no longer the eldest sister

She knew she would be fighting a lot in her adulthood, so she took the initiative. It was for a tactical purpose, but also, she secretly liked how pointed ears made her more intimidating
