(( I like that my Darcymuse is getting hate anonymously through someone else, now that my Darcymuse is gone. This is real classy, Tumblr. Really really classy))

Well well well…another version of myself.
This should be fun.
Well met, Self. What games...
Perfect jet eyebrows rose, his mood tested slightly by her sudden behavior. She had not been like this previously- was this an unexpected aspect of the warden? Loki was, as of yet, unsure if it could be advantageous or if it would be eventually trying.
“You forget this game is one of my own making. I may bend its rules, but you may not.”
And just like that, she was brought back to ground level. It was funny what a simple scolding might do. Lifting her hands, palms out, Eira indicated abdication of playing around. Her hands dropped and she crossed her arms and looked down at her feet with a sigh.
“With the exception of the rare few opportunities, the duties of any prison guard are unstimulating, at best.”
Perfect. She was trained well in the art of respect. It brought a stirring of pleasure in chest.
"I can only imagine." He responds dryly, a self-satisfied smirk forming. "Tell me, Guard, why this occupation interested a...maiden such as yourself. This is my chosen half of our game for today."
-Suppressing a faint shudder she gave no indication of her apprehension. Turning her head so she too could reach his ear she purred quietly, murmuring in a challenging voice- You'd have to catch me first, and it's not something that has been easily done before.
I have already once, have I not?
“You’re late.” He’d been sitting on his bench, but, now, stood in an elegant motion. Every move he made was fluid, unjaunty like one might expect of someone his height. Each step Loki took was even and measured, the same distance from toe to heel to heel to toe, each time.
For someone who had previously spent months doing nothing but sitting on a bench, this was somewhat remarkable.
His trek stopped, trapped by the bars of the cell, and he leaned against them lazily, eying Eira curiously. The dark pockets under his eyes were less so today, giving evidence that he had atleast slumbered, for once. “I have spent my time thinking of nothing else, Lady.” Loki’s voice oozed with insincerity, his smile oily and concocted. “Surely, you have thought of naught else?”
Upon commenting on her own tardiness, Eira gave a half smile while watching him as he rose. The amount of grace with which he moved was not lost on her, nor was the way he spoke to her. Today, feeling emboldened because of her encounter with a prisoner, she held eye contact with him as he spoke. Her eyes searched his face briefly for a second, taking in the angles of his face and noticing that he looked slightly better than he had when he first spoke to her.
The artificiality with which he spoke let her hide the fact that she indeed thought of their encounters frequently. Eira let out a scoff, but shifted weight from foot to foot. It took a moment of focused effort to keep her face from turning to a darker color. She dipped her head and rose one eyebrow as she looked at him amusedly. “Please tell me that’s not your question,” Eira asked dubiously. “Because I may answer just the same way as you posed the question.”
[she’s riding on an adrenaline high XD]

-Leaning forward she narrowed her eyes, her grin widening- Toots.
He smiles, the nature of which almost mimics her own, and leans closer towards her, whispering into her ear as if he were sharing a joyous secret.
"When I leave here," He gestures to the cell holding him. "I will search you out. I will find you, alone, vulnerable."
A pause, here, his eyes flickering.
"And I will take the hide of your other form for my gloves."
Really? Want to enlighten me on that? *She smirks*
I cannot give away all my secrets, Lady Nyx. Where would it leave me if I were to give away all the tricks I keep up my sleeve?
*scrunches nose in distaste* Jealous? Of swooning girls? *scoffs* Please.
Swooning girls? My precious warden, I believe you are confused. I speak to another self, to the Tesseract, and..yes, some girls, though I would hardly call them swooning.
I think, my lady, you seek too far into these idle conversations.
-She shifted back to her original form and glared at the man- You're lucky I don't bruise easily, toots. I'd rather put your hands to better use. -She hide a small grin to herself-
You remain uninjured, do you not? You should count yourself most blessed. I do not take kindly to dismissive titles. Take care to not repeat 'toots' in my presence.
I believe I may be from your past rather, brother Loki. For I have not as of yet, attempted this world domination that my fellows seem to be quite smitten with, though I narrowly escaped a war between the gods.
You are unblemished with the failures of, ah, miscalculation, then. So, if not Midgard, where do your plans lay, self? Without that burden upon your shoulders, your knees buckling under its weight, where does that leave you?
Tiny Monsters- Puscifer (Skip to the first minute in)
Eira had seen Thor coming down the hall as he was leaving the day before. She had put her heels to the wall and dipped her head in deference as he passed her. However, her eyes were trained on him as he passed, noticing that he didn’t look so heavy-hearted. Eira figured this meant something about Loki - she was not stupid, and knew Loki was the only reason Thor came into the prisons so regularly. Today, she remembered this as she walked towards Loki’s prison cell.
Just several minutes before a commotion broke out between a prisoner and a guard. The prisoner managed to slam the guard against the wall, and as he was about to break for it, Eira rushed up and slammed her shoulder into his stomach. It only pushed him back, so she made up for lost distance and her fist flew up into his jaw. A fistfight followed, but it ended up being her more playing around with the prisoner. He proved to be a poor close quarter fighter, but she had her fun regardless. After reproaching the guard loudly, she continued on her way.
Even though she may have looked tired, her eyes were bright and she had a faint smile on her face. The fight, although a joke, had been fun and entertaining. She came within several meters of Loki’s cell, and stopped. “I hope you’ve spent all day thinking of a question.”

Nyx. My name is Nyx.
Nyx.You are aware there are powers in names, are you not? Especially for gods.
I do not wish for to be a weapon, pet.
Then we are in agreement.
Nothing really I was just curious?
A name was what I was digging for, Lady. Your intentions are of little use to me.
But a name is favorable.
-She let out a quiet hiss, wriggling in his grasp before mewling. Leaning close she licked his cheek, scrambling again. She had to admit she was a little afraid-
*He only smiled once more before letting her down to the floor. Fear was good. Fear was a start.*
