This needs to be said because they have crossed many boundaries that's not just mine, but also others. A group of minors has been targeting me behind my back spreading hate, lies, bullying, and even going as far as telling me to end my life. if you think being a minor justifies this behavior? It doesn't. Age is not an excuse to ruin someone’s mental health and reputation. I will not be silenced. I will not delete this. This is affecting me deeply, and I won’t let people twist the narrative to make themselves look like the victim when they’ve crossed serious lines. If you're defending this behavior, it’s time to do better.
So I’ve just finished reading the entire doc. Kazue, you are a very strong person for telling the truth with FULL evidence. I am so sorry that this has happened to you girl. I really hope this sheds light on why 18+ communities and games should not have minors. Period. I don’t care what reason someone will pull out of their ass to excuse such disgusting behavior.
These minors need to stay out of these types of fandoms as even their behavior and vulgar language is just……sick. Like wtf is wrong with them? Clearly they need professional help if they’re willing to go far as faking their sui*ide, starting a hate campaign on someone who only warned them politely to leave the fandom and to not interact with the fandom, the game, and the creator of the game out of respect, marking FAKE accounts to harass ONE FUCKING PERSON, and much more.

Kazue’s situation is the biggest proof and reason to why we adults are bringing awareness to this situation. Minors have so many fandom spaces that they can interact on, but when they see that there’s adult spaces, they want in now. Shame on you for trying to ruin Kazue’s life and reputation. queenlilithprime / restartheartvn is a horrible person and you should not support them.
I have documented and provided screenshots of every post linked here. This means that even if Lilith deletes something, I will still have evidence. I have also screen recorded their entire vent blog, racism blog, and some of the other blogs they've engaged with for future reference. So there will be no excuse for faking screenshots if the original source can no longer be found. For even more security it might be good to reblog posts you find important to preserve them as well.
First, proof "princessofhollowness" is their venting side blog.

According to former friends of Lilith, many of the personal experiences shared on their vent blog can be backed up by personal events shared on their discord and main blog. Out of respect for their privacy, since these posts are personal, I will not share screenshots. But you can still find them on their vent blog.
With that out of the way I want you to remember that whenever you see "princessofhollowness" in any of the screenshots, it's one of Lilith's side blogs.
Proof "galacticglados" is another side blog.
Another thing I need to establish is that "galacticglados" is another side blog created by Lilith, as I will be referencing it periodically.
I want to highlight that Lilith's typing style and formatting are similar to those used on their second and third side blogs.
Going a step further, Lilith has previously interacted with the creators of the blog "creatingblackcharacters" on their main account and is familiar with the owners. This will be relevant later. (one two)
Furthermore, all the posts found on galacticglados align with the stalkerish intentions directed toward the creator of the blog "14dayswithyou," which I will elaborate on later.
They showed ignorance as a developer and made homophobia accusations towards the developers of Love & Deepspace.
Lilith has labeled the developers of L&DS (Papergames and subsequently Infold Games) and its fandom as homophobic and shitty without conducting any research or providing evidence of their claims. They made most of these claims on their developer accounts, which has many impressionable followers. (link)
If they did their due diligence as a developer with a published game of their own, they would know that China has significant censorship issues, especially regarding LGBT+ relationships and queer men. Games will be blacklisted and unplayable in China if they don't meet specific conditions. It is absurd to condemn an entire studio and call them homophobic simply for adhering to the laws of their country and not allowing BL content to jeopardize everything they have built.
Additionally, it's well known that L&DS is an otome game designed primarily for women. Lilith expects a massive company to violate Chinese laws by allowing BL content, which would then undermine the intent of the game and take away from a product created for women. If L&DS were a BL game instead, it would not be appropriate to make the main character a woman to be more inclusive.
They have spoken poorly about the developer of @you-and-him behind their back.
UnknownHermit is the creator of YOU and HIM and was originally part of Florescent Red Studios, a developer studio co-owned by Lilith and @stnaf-vn. I don't have much to say except that discussing a friend's or employee's issues behind their back in a public setting is a shady practice for a developer. (link)

They have shown stalkerish behavior regarding @14dayswithyou.
Lilith has an obsession with digging up old posts made by 14dayswithyou and scrutinizing them for any flaws. Some of 14dayswithyou's posts date back several days to over a year, yet Lilith continues to stalk their socials daily and scroll through hundreds of posts just to find any kind of infraction they can complain about. I recommend looking at princessofhollowness and any other blogs they've interacted with to understand what I'm talking about. (one two three four)
They are obsessed with the downfall of 14dayswithyou to the point where they weaponized and used @creatingblackcharacters to reach their goal.
Now that I've provided evidence that princessofhollowness belongs to Lilith and highlighted their stalker-like behavior towards 14dayswithyou, it gives more context to the posts found on galacticglados.
As I mentioned above, Lilith actively criticizes everything the creator of 14dayswithyou does on princessofhollowness and has even commented on their inability to draw Black people accurately, despite two of the characters not actually being Black. It's no coincidence that they raised the same issue on galacticglados and attempted to launch a smear campaign to avoid facing backlash on their main blog. (one two three four)
Lilith has complained about the 14dayswithyou server on princessofhollowness and again on galacticglados, which is even more proof they run both accounts. They have also interacted with this post a few hours prior to posting something related on galacticglados, which is interesting. (link link)
They're a racist who assumes all dark-skinned people are Black.
Two characters mentioned in this post were mistakenly assumed to be Black despite their ethnicities never having been officially confirmed anywhere. Although they have non-Black features, such as their eye color and hair texture, Lilith still claimed they were 100% Black and submitted this information to the creatingblackcharacters blog with harmful intent.
A friend sent me a screenshot of the creator confirming that the characters are actually intended to be South Asian. So there is no excuse for Lilith trying to perpetuate racial stereotypes about Black people.
They're ableist and made a horrible joke about cancer.
Lilith jokingly remarked that people who are racist should get skin cancer. They later apologized for this comment, but in the big year of 2025, making such a joke is simply not acceptable. Ironically, while Lilith spoke about immediately calling out racism in their original post, they lacked the courage to actually do so on their main blog and instead addressed it on galacticglados. They're a virtue signaller who tries to get in the good graces of mainstream accounts despite being a hypocrite.
Lilith supported proshipping after reblogging a statement from @fantasia-kitt, despite stating "no proshipping" on their blog and not apologizing for banning my friend on discord for liking similar proshipper content found in fantasia-kitt's game, The Kid At The Back. (one two)

Testimonies from other people
These will be from aggrieved discord members since that is where most of my friends are active, but I can add anonymous tumblr testimonies too.
Seeing this was an absolutely upsetting yet not shocking discovery. This might be long, so please don't mind me if you don't wish to read it. I just thought it might be best for my own sake to finally get things off my chest, given I am one of the friends they had vaguely 'tweeted' (if I can call that on Tumblr) about regarding 14dwy in their vent account.
I don't encourage bullying, I don't encourage harassment--I don't want my feelings and thoughts to be weaponized.
I didn’t think I would have a chance to speak on this ever. I didn’t for the longest of times, for many reasons. It was for the sake of my friends’ comfort/protection, it was due to the fear of being targeted again, and it was due to the fact that I felt like I was being shoved into a corner with no support besides the friends who were also directly affected by this.
But in all honesty, it was never a one-time thing. My friends and I have been harassed, stalked, and bullied for a whole year since the fallout with a former friend of ours and co— by said former friend and co.
For context and starters— Hi!! I’m Rosie, a friend of Sai’s, former friend of Lilith, and have been a moderator in 14dwy for about two/three years, give or take? A year ago, we had confronted a former friend (whom I will keep anonymous) about a behavior that had already been brought up a year prior to the incident. The situation had blown out of proportion, and even when we had apologized the moment it was addressed in private, it was taken to the public. It became a whole mess that I had hoped would die down, but later on–they (them and co) had since been sending ominous messages and spreading rumors about my friends, me, and our server through multiple other creators' servers.
We still get reports from other members from our server and other servers about this situation, where this group has been painting such a disturbing picture about us that we weren’t aware of until we saw screenshots ourselves. Information that had been twisted and turned into something bigger than it should’ve been.
We’ve become ostracized from the community. I’ve gotten banned and discouraged from joining other creators’ servers because of the rumors and accusations, by people I didn’t even know—and my friends and I have been receiving harassment not just on our public accounts, but behind our backs by people in private dms/servers/and public servers, both unfamiliar and whom we thought were friends.
Why I’m bringing this up is vital to why I'm responding at all. Lilith was one of the main people who had been harassing us, encouraging such behavior. And this post only confirms my suspicions. Im not talking for all my friends, they’re allowed to respond how they choose, as do I.
And to clarify, I'm not here to clear my name or to try and make this response in hopes that sharing my experience will right all the wrongs that have been done to me—but I refuse to keep silent after everything we’ve been through in just a year.
Lilith and I used to be good friends when I had started getting into the yandere vn community, when I had started a blog called Hot Killer Babes, Lilith was someone who supported me. That, I will always truly be grateful for, and still am. Our friendship, however, started to distance when we were in a private server, made 2 years ago, with a few of our other friends (some of whom I am still friends with, a few whom I had cut off contact with). Sai was one of these seven members.
Lilith, one day, had pinged us all, stating that one of us had leaked private information about them to another creator (whom I will also keep anonymous), to which we were all confused. We all stated it was none of us, but Lilith still accused us all with their vague suspicions. They were adamant it was one of us because there had supposedly been screenshots of our specific conversations on our server sent to that creator. When asked for the ss, Lilith denied.
However, we stated again, it was none of us and expressed our sympathy to them—because no one deserved to be doxxed. Then, after a few months of little activity in the server, Lilith had made a public post— claiming it was a former member of the yandere vn community who had done it.
This confused me as the information Lilith had given us prior was that there were screenshots coming from our server specifically, which didn’t match up with the ‘culprit’, considering said member was never in our server. It was then proven false, and by the time Lilith had apologized, their fans had already driven the person out of the community.
This person was loved by many for their whimsical asks and abundance of support to many creators, big and small— and even after two years, I still think about them and how they’re doing.
But I digress. I overlooked this situation as I was still pretty brand new to the whole community— and from what I was told before, was that Lilith was a creator many would target for many reasons. I would always side with Lilith, as I had considered them my friend. I’d receive asks in my inbox by anons trying to bash Lilith for small things, and I would always defend them.
However, I started to notice a concerning pattern that had me believing Lilith less and less after the accusation they had thrown towards me and our friends at the time. While I do not want to doubt any bullying or harrassment anyone goes through, now I had come to realize, at least some of it had been manufactured. Especially with the situation last year, where we were accused of ableism and harassment— for telling a member who was also my closest friend since I was 16, that they had made many members feel uncomfortable and less welcome.
When that had happened— Lilith’s friends had made posts about it, some whom I didn’t even know about until it happened. And soon enough, hate comments spewed into their inboxes. Other creators had then also spoken about it, shaming Sai and our group for our moderation and how ‘we encouraged such vile behavior’. We had made our own responses, and that would be laid to rest.
But it didn’t rest. Almost every other month, we’d always get reports that Lilith and Co had done something to hurt our images, befriending any new uprising creator that made it big and would tell people to not play 14dwy before spilling rumors that just seem so out of pocket. One comment that stuck with me was how I apparently “harassed [anonymous former friend] while she was grieving”.
??? Right.
We’ve had people joining our server acting as spies or joining just to watch us and judge, like we were animals in glass cages for them to point at the moment we did something relatively wrong.
I had also caught Lilith lurking on my accounts a few times after the whole incident, accidentally liking my posts just to remove them instantly. It had scared me to the point that I had left all my blogs inactive. Not to mention the harassment my friends have received from people who have interacted with Lilith and co. Ominous anon asks, hinting towards the incidents and accusing them of being 'fake' and 'attention seeking' despite my friend not posting at all and only reblogging for a few months on their break.
I’m unsure if I should share screenshots, some lost in the trash while I tried to clear what I thought was just heavy weight, some freshly taken or redownloaded to assure me I’m not just imagining it all. But I respect people’s privacy and the right to live peacefully, even if the other party has clearly not been doing so. It’s scary seeing this post, now given confirmation that Lilith had been lurking on our every move, but now also creating various side blogs just to speak poorly about my friends AND the people within the server and 14dwy community.
You have every right to not believe me, every right to say I'm victimizing myself or am taking advantage of this situation just to try and hurt Lilith.
But I'm just tired. Tired of having to look over my shoulder, tired of having people start attacking newer staff members for associating with us, of living in fear that some members of our server are some kind of double agent. It’s exhausting, it truly is— so I’m unsure how you, Lilith, can still be so full of hate while everyone else (whether friends with me OR you) is trying to live on with their lives. You have cultivated a blanket of false comfort for this community, someone many looked up to. While I don’t think any of your personal values are disingenuous, your actions prove that good values don't always mean good character. I hope you’re able to let go of whatever it is that causes you to hate so deeply.

And I know that once I post this, my words will likely be ripped apart and mocked. But if I can endure all the struggles you had put my friends and I through for a year, I can take a few hours out of my day to finally speak up.
This was definitely a mess, and half of what I wrote likely has a bunch of grammar mistakes! But I didn’t want to curate it into some professional response, because this isn’t me being professional. This is me, as Rosie, who was a close friend of yours. Who trusted you with deep secrets and looked up to you as a new member of the community at the time.

This situation is very personal to me and has been ongoing for almost a year now, so I've had time to process it all and come to terms with things on my own. And although the recent stalking allegation is new, I've been aware of Lily's behaviour (in one way or another) for many months now — either through people privately confiding in me or, very recently, making public posts and tagging me in them.
I'd like to clarify right now that I was never given any solid proof of the things Lily had done, such as stalking my accounts, talking about me and my friends behind our backs, or that they vehemently disliked me/14DWY to the point where they needed to criticise and hyperanalise every move I made. I was led to believe that Lily and I "were on amicable terms" — but as it turns out, the entire time I was being deceived and given fake niceties to save face in a public setting.
Because I wasn't given any solid proof of these events, all I had to go off of were people (who asked to remain anonymous) tipping me off on Tumblr and Discord. They'd claimed that Lily and their friend group were badmouthing me and anyone associated to me to other developers in hopes of severing connections or getting us blacklisted. And in some cases, it worked. A few good friends and people I looked up to eventually started snubbing me. Others blocked me. Some cut ties altogether with a false impression of me (painted by Lily) left in their mind, and there was nothing I could do to change it.
I was branded as a bad person for things that were either untrue or heavily misconstrued. The same is true for the 14DWY Discord, the mods, my friends, and many other people who associated with me.
When a callout post against me/the 14DWY Discord was released, Lily reblogged it, and a wave of their fans immediately flocked to my inbox to white knight for them — in the form of doxxing, slurs, death threats, and rape threats. My full name and birthdate were being used as usernames to torment me, the state I lived in was used in a threatening way ("I live in [xyz]. If you show your face, I'll [do a bad thing to] you."), and random social media accounts (which weren't mine) were being spread around. It was one of the worst moments in my life, and as someone who was "on amicable terms" with Lily, it genuinely hurt me to know that they didn't care enough to reach out or check on me. Instead, they were curating a false narrative of me with their friends and spreading it to other people.
This left me with the impression that they never truly thought of me as their friend — but instead — someone they could publicly show off since 14DWY is extremely popular. Choosing to reblog a heavily misconstrued post that purposefully made me look bad (rather than come to me privately to hear my side) only further cemented this idea.
Regarding all the harassment I'd been dealing with, I privately chose to step away from the yandere community, stop interacting with others, and keep to myself. Despite my efforts, I was still getting harassed and sent hate mail involving things that were baseless and untrue. People were calling me an ableist, a lazy dev, harmful slurs, telling me that I should kill myself the same way [unrelated event] did, and that I faked getting doxxed for attention — all from fans who did it in Lily and co's name. I tried to suck it up for the longest time since (I assumed) it was just a toxic friend group trying to bully me off the platform, but it reached a point where I just had enough.
[TW] There were moments where I truly thought about ending it all because I just... didn't feel safe anymore, and it was only made worse when I started spiralling and thinking I couldn't do anything right, let alone online when there was always someone commenting on it. [End TW] There would always be some burner account complaining about how I post too much, that there's too much 14DWY lore, and that all I do is interact with my friends and popular fans instead of working on my game — all of which were comments that were brought up on Lily and Co's vent blogs.
This is kinda unrelated, but I feel the need to mention it for closure: at the time, I spoke with a therapist regarding all that had transpired. I sought legal advice regarding the doxxing and had every single account IP banned. I also had the support of my friends and family, which I'm really grateful for. I'm okay now, I don't feel that way anymore, and I haven't ever since. I'm also not mentioning this for pity points or sympathy; I've already dealt with it all and moved past it. I just want everyone who's reading this to know that I'm genuinely so grateful for all the support I've been given. This 14DWY event specifically made me reconsider a lot of my negative thoughts, and I'm genuinely so blessed and thankful to have such kind people in my life. Also... I suppose I wanted to show that you never truly know what someone may be going through online — and that's why I always emphasise the importance of showing kindness, respect, and understanding above all else.
Moving on... When I publicly addressed that I was stepping away from the yandere circle completely, that's when the harassment finally died down... Until some of my friends started receiving random anonymous asks trying to push drama that only Lily and co would know about. I won't go into detail or list what they were, but it was extremely coincidental that they happened to involve things that only a select group of people knew about.
Until recent events, everything I'd ever been told by others was, "Lily did [xyz]. I can't give proof because I don't want them to know it was me telling you this". And for the longest time... I genuinely tried to give Lily the benefit of the doubt. Just as Rosie said, there had been moments when spiteful anons were giving Lily a hard time online, and I naively believed the people who confided in me were one and the same. As it turns out, they were right and I was wrong.
So... All of this is to say that for the longest time, I've had my suspicions regarding Lily, and it's somewhat reassuring to finally have them all confirmed. Part of me wishes it could've been done under better circumstances, but this has been something I've been bottling up and keeping to myself for close to a year now. If this is how Rosie, me, and others have been feeling towards Lily, I can only imagine how others might be as well. I'm not making this post to slander Lily's name or to tell you not to support them — but to warn you all of their behaviour. I don't want anyone else to experience the things I have.
I'll also be blocking Lily on all my socials until I feel comfortable again. Now that I know they've been digging up year-old Tumblr posts, Itch comments, and things I've said on Discord just to take them out of context and twist them into something completely different, I no longer feel safe. As a precaution, I'll also be blocking everyone previously mentioned by those on Tumblr and Discord. I now know the truth, and I'm very sorry for dismissing you all and not taking any action until now.
On the off-chance that Lily sees this, I want you to know that I hold no ill will for the things you've done. Yes, you've made some horrendous decisions that I will never condone; you've said awful things about me and my friends behind our backs, bullied me, stalked multiple people, hypocritically spoke about my Discord server, attempted to ruin my reputation by labelling me as a racist and ableist, and you even gave me trust issues to boot — but this doesn't make you fully irredeemable in my eyes. I would have liked to have received an apology from you personally instead of settling for a simple "I'm sorry to everyone I've ever hurt," but I understand that you aren't in a good headspace and you (rightfully) need to take time away from the internet to better yourself.
Perhaps not right now, but I'm sure in the future, my door will be open if you ever want to reconsider being friends again.
Similarly, some old friends have recently reached out to me to reconcile and apologise for things that they have done, which really means a lot to me. I truly mean it when I say I hold no ill will, and this extends to anyone who sided with Lily or cut ties with me. I understand that many of you did it out of loyalty, false pretences, or fear of losing all your friends, and I'm not the kind of person to hold grudges. My door is open for you all as well, but please understand that I might not be the one to approach you first. I'm still extremely self-conscious after everything that's happened, but I'm sure this is something I can overcome with time.
I'm not sure how to end this post, but I do want to reiterate once more that everyone should treat each other with kindness, respect, and understanding. And please don't bully or harass anyone involved in this post — you've now seen what happens when you do, and how badly it can affect people. This is not something I'd wish upon anyone.

Rosie, Sai, if you both read this, I really hope you can get the peace you both deserve. No one, not even my worst enemy, deserves to be bullied, doxxed, and harassed off the internet. It is extremely disgusting what Lily has done to all parties involved. But I can see that it has put a really deep scar on you both.
I am on the 14DWY Discord server and I never knew that it was also happening inside such a secured private server. I’m really sorry that it has traumatized you both to the point of paranoia and distrust within your own VN community. I have met so many amazing people on the server who are nice, supportive, and share the same interests as me.
One more thing to Sai, I want you to know that I, and many supporters will be here for you and wish you the best moving forward. I hope you’re able to heal from this and take healthy breaks. POST [ 04/01/2025] UTC+8 No, this isn't an April Fool's Joke
Hello everyone! This post is just a short update about me, the game's development and along with a few boundaries I'd like to set for Patreon and in general.
First of all, I hope everyone enjoyed the little gag game "Rizz the Wolf" especially for Geo simps, but I did not make that for the sake of April Fool's alone, I made that as practice and I've been learning new stuff and polishing my methods in coding. To the people who aren't aware, I am no coding master; I have a college degree in animation and I have no idea what the fuck I am doing.
I did not learn how to code via school, I did it all out of pure interest, my love for visual novels/otome games and curiosity (basically I just raw dogged it all).
This tiny project was made to let me test out new methods I'd like to implement on my actual game. Basically, it's practice.
I never planned on being a game dev nor wanting to publish a game and I definitely did NOT expect for my game to get this popular it's honestly baffling and amazing and terrifying.
But to say I am not thankful is wrong, I AM VERY THANKFUL for this and the attention my game has gotten along with the appreciation and how many people I've inspired because of this game I made out of pure spite and stress due to college.
The Kid at the Back's development is still in progress, in fact, I'll be polishing the code starting now with the methods I've learned throughout my research and practice to make it cleaner and less of a mess.
I am still adamant of publishing my game as the full thing next update so please, all I ask from you all is patience, I am not sure when exactly I'll be done since writing dialogue itself is a pain (I have 5 more days to go) along with the weight of multiple expectations from so many people takes a toll on my mental health and motivation. So all I am asking is patience.
For Patreon, I won't be responding to DMs there since I am not really active in checking DMs there to give everyone the immediate response they deserve. For increasing Soulmates, I apologize but I won't be expanding it any further until I have something to offer since development is kind of slow, I will increase it once the full game is out so again, I'd like to apologize once again who can't be a Soulmate for now (I feel burdened not giving anything when 300+ people are subscribed to me).

She doesn’t want children who don’t know better coming into the fandom and playing her game. Not only that, but PIRATING THE NSFW VERSION THAT IS THROUGH A PAYWALL MIND YOU, TO BLOCK MINORS. It is a common method for devs to do when they add spicy content to their games.
The minor was completely in the wrong for pirating the nsfw version of the game, they also posted saying that on their TikTok page, and when the creator HERSELF asked for the minor to stop playing her game KINDLY, the minor said no.
‘But they later apologized and took it down. So what?’ Well…..let me tell you again. Minors SHOULD NOT PLAY WITH THE GAME. Respect the creators wishes and just…..fucking wait until you’re of age to play it. It’ll be fully done by the time you’re 18. Some long-term followers may have noticed this subtle shift already (especially those who are in the 14DWY Discord server or have read this post), but I figured I'd make it official.
I'm no longer associating myself with the yandere VN community.
The TLDR is that the energy here really fuckin SUCKS!! And I don't want to be part of something so hostile and needlessly competitive.
The constant infighting and epicaricacy between communities is deeply upsetting, and it's very disheartening to see aspiring developers cancel their projects because of the unwarranted backlash and harassment they face.
Some entitled folks on here reeeeally need to understand that constantly harassing others for updates, encouraging developers to belittle others to make themselves/their project look better, complaining about a project not meeting the expectations you specifically put in place, attacking other communities because of the parasocial relationship you share with another developer, getting mad that you chose to ignore important PSAs or warnings and faced the repercussions, or even sending in hate messages on anon because you're bored are not things you should be doing — let alone be proud of.
I try to avoid bringing up these topics as it's not the vibe I want to have on this blog (nor do I want to negatively contribute to the Streisand Effect and blow things out of proportion), but I'm genuinely getting tired of being on the receiving end of all this harassment and negativity, seeing it happen to others, and watching other indie developers encourage such vile behaviour. I'm done.
For those wondering what this means for "14 Days With You": for the most part, everything will still continue like usual. I've said this from the very beginning, but 14DWY is just a passion project I pursue whenever I feel like it. It's something I do for fun as a hobby — not because I want to publish a well-known game or turn it into a career. I've been on Tumblr for over thirteen years now, and it's taught me how to grow thick skin, so everything that I'm yapping and yammering about won't stop me from working on 14DWY.
However, this does mean that I won't be as interactive with other developers or their communities anymore; many ill-natured people have ruined this for me.
Because of them, I'm no longer able to voice my opinion on other games without some opinionated rat whispering in my ear about how the developer is "problematic" or that I could get cancelled for simply following them on Twitter. I can't interact with certain games without its parasocial community becoming hostile or gatekeepy towards anyone they don't like. I've seen communities belittle and devalue promising demos because in their eyes, nothing can compare to their favourite game (or their favourite developer). I have been harassed, bullied, and doxxed by other communities and have seen the same thing happen to others as well. I've heard about the developers who weaponise their community's loyalty to attack and drive out their competition. And I've witnessed more than enough developers expressing how badly they want to take a hiatus due to how much unwarranted negativity they receive, but don't want to disappoint their community by doing so.
By saying all of this, you can understand why I dislike being here so much, as well as why I no longer find any enjoyment in interacting with the yandere VN community.
Many people here — fans and developers alike — are so needlessly pushy about their standards and personal opinions being the norm, and if anyone else goes against them, they'll purposefully try to ostracise and bully them out of the community. This place isn't as laid-back or inclusive as it used to be, and I don't want to be associated with a community that acts so hostile and aggressive towards anyone who shares a differing opinion — nor do I want to be part of a space that caters towards developers who'll tear down others in order to have a moment of relevancy.
We're all doing our own thing and making our own games; it shouldn't be a competition. But if you see it as such, then I urge you to take a moment to stop and rethink your actions — or, at the very least, understand how it's affecting you and others around you.
So until there's a reasonable change and people can go back to being less... demanding, hypercritical, and gatekeepy about who interacts with what, I'll be stepping away and continuing to stay in my own bubble, as I have for the past two years now. I've already unfollowed everyone associated with the yandere community many months ago, but I think I'll just unfollow everyone entirely now for my own peace of mind. I will also no longer be interacting with any yandere VN communities (aside from close friends), nor will I be as public with my interests from this moment on. Everything on this blog will be strictly related to 14DWY like usual, and I will continue to block and report any spiteful "anons"/burner accounts sent my way and delete their messages.
Again, this isn't really much of an announcement — it's more so just paragraphs of me bitchin and moanin 🫶 — but I wanted to get this all out there instead of leaving things unsaid and having people come to their own conclusions as to why I've suddenly become less active, less optimistic, and why I've stopped engaging with a majority of the yandere community in the last two years.
So, yeah... ^^; If there's anything I want y'all to take away from this entire post, it's to be kind, open, and understanding towards everyone — developers and communities alike — and to spread support rather than negativity. It's what I want my own community to be known for, so please be mindful of how you treat others online.
And if you find yourself being surrounded by constant toxicity and negativity (be it from friends, mutuals, or even other developers or communities), please don't feel ashamed to step away or cut them off entirely. Put yourself and your mental health first. I also think it'll be good for me to leave all this negative energy behind and continue to kick off 2025 in a better light, so if y'all need to let out any frustrations of your own, feel free to go ham in the replies (obviously, be kind and civil though jghsjg T_T)
I've had enough so I have to say this, so listen each one of you FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
This is for all minors out there that's inside the Tkatb community. This needs to be stated firmly and unequivocally.
Minors, teens, or anyone under 18 are NOT allowed to engage with TKATB. This includes playing the game, creating characters, or interacting with the community in any capacity. The creator has made this rule crystal clear countless times, and it is not negotiable.
Let me be ABSOLUTELY clear.
No, you cannot bypass this rule by creating an OC with an adult age while you yourself are a minor. No, you cannot participate in the community or any related discussions, interactions, or content.
This rule is in place for a reason, your safety. Continuing to ignore it shows a blatant lack of respect for the creator, the community, and the boundaries that have been firmly established. We are beyond tired of dealing with this constant disregard for the rules.
Take this seriously. Stay out of spaces that are not meant for you. Respect the boundaries that have been set. End of discussion.
