This was WAR. Snowballs were flying fast across the battle field, but he knew that to secure victory, he would have to take her out. All he needed was a well-placed throw and.... *SPLAT* [ was he hit? or was she hit? hmmmm >:) ]

oh, yes, put these two together and there will be absolutely no survivors. eliza is sad to admit that even the snowmen that her sons had built earlier in the day had been cruelly dismantled when she’d thought that loki had been hiding himself (or some other trick) within them. (she was wrong – and paranoid – in the most jovial of ways.)
sadly, there is only so much that someone with electricity in their bones can do in a frozen wasteland – he has the advantage with magic on his side, but their wits have always been easy to match; it what makes the sibling bond that much stronger. thor had just taken marco and polo in from the cold weather in order to warm up their little hands, worn through with icy temperatures, mittens of no use – eliza vowed that she’d drag herself and loki in soon enough. (after she won the game-turned-battle.) sometimes, her poor husband must’ve felt like he’d had four children instead of the two (so far).
now, however, it’s just the two of them – eliza and loki, hidden behind their own snowbanks. no tricks, no games, no nothing besides their own, dumb luck – at a twist of fate, eliza reaches towards her own pre-made snowballs and takes a deep breath – before darting upwards and tossing a snowball … directly at loki!
“god’a mischief my ass!” oh, thank goodness the children are inside. the unladylike behavior that their mother displays is not shocking, but nonetheless … not graceful. especially not as she tumbles towards loki, tackling him into the snow in victory. “a fair win, brother! can’t beat th’best.”
