Roxanne Weasley is 20 years old, and formerly of Gryffindor house. She is an Artist and is currently single. Her face claim is Jessica Sula. Her character is open.
Allegiance: Undecided
Blood Status: Halfblood
Appearance: Roxanne takes after her mother, with long dark curly hair and dark skin. Her rounded face and wide smile often make her look younger then her 20 years, but Roxy doesn’t mind that much. She isn’t tall, but isn’t short either, rather she is of average height, unlike her brother, who seemed to have inherited the tall gene from the Weasley side of the family. She is very graceful in her movements, and is often likened to a ghost by her family because of her ability to quietly move around without being noticed.
Personality: Nowadays, Roxanne mostly keeps to herself. But on a few occasions, the girl she used to be will poke through, and a bright, vibrant, talkative Roxanne will appear. Sometimes She’ll be that way for only a minute before retreating back into herself, and sometimes it will last for days. The more of her old life she remembers, the more the outgoing girl who loves Quidditch and having fun begins to poke through the hazy Roxanne that has been around lately.
Bio: With cousins like the Weasley’s and a father like George, Roxanne becoming a master prankster and quidditch player extraordinaire seemed almost inevitable. From an early age, the girl had been taught by her father and her brother the art of strategy, both in pranks and on the quidditch field. While Roxanne enjoyed flying, and the thrill she got from playing quidditch with her family, she had other interests too. Roxy enjoyed doing things like cooking and drawing, but rarely got time to do them as someone inevitably would interrupt her to go do something they thought was funner. At first this annoyed the young girl, but such was the life of a Weasley. With as many cousins as Roxanne had, time alone was infrequent and she learned to adapt, throwing herself into quidditch so she could spend time with her cousins, and not feel the sting of always being dragged away from doing something she loved.
For the most part, Roxanne’s time at Hogwarts was a happy one. The outgoing girl made friends easily, and fit right in among her cousins at the school. She did well enough in her classes, and even managed to become a chaser on the quidditch team by her third year. Everyone loved Roxanne, much to her delight, and soon the girl had become very popular among the Gryffindors at the school. Like everyone, Roxanne found a place where she seemed to fit in most, and that was with the other quidditch players. They accepted her, encouraged her, and made her feel like one of them. Which would have been fine, if they weren’t all guys. As Roxanne aged it seemed she would be destined to just be known as one of the quidditch guys, never a girl. And certainly, none of them would ever see her as someone they could date, especially not Denxel, the guy Roxanne had been in love with since first year. The little tiny problems didn’t matter for long, however, when rumors of Death Eaters started to spread smong the school. It appeared the group was back, bringing darkness and destruction with it. Roxy was set on edge by the idea, but knew that as long as she had her family, they would be fine. However, even the Weasley-Potter clan wouldn’t remain untouched by the darkness. Her little cousin Lily was looking to become a Death Eater and, unbeknownst to the rest of the family, she had been given a fairly simple task to prove her loyalty to the Dark Lord: kill a family member. First Hermione, Lily’s aunt, was targeted, and then the young girl set her sights on Fred. Roxanne intercepted Lily, effectively ruining her plan, and ended up with a wand in her face. Her cousin’s sinister smile as the last thing she saw before she was enveloped by a flash of green light.
One day, Roxanne awoke. What had happened to her? Her last fuzzy memory was of a wand waving in her face, a cruel smile, and screams. Then nothing. Nothing, that is, until now. Rox had no idea where she was, when she was, or who she was. She was in a forest and, not too far away there was a castle where she knew she would be able to get help there. For some strange reason, a reason she couldn’t quite place, the castle felt safe and welcoming. It almost felt like home. From the castle, they directed her into the village below, where she made a home for herself. There had been a war, they said, and many had died, but things were safe now. Things were better. Roxanne didn’t question it, settling into the little cottage and slowly letting things go back to normal. But something was dragging her toward Diagon Alley, and one day she moved there, to a small apartment set away from all the main parts, where Roxanne stayed most days, keeping away from other people and avoiding her room-mate. Piece by piece, memories of her old life began to flow back to her. Sometimes it would be a face, or a name. Other times it would be a place, or a scene. She had a family somewhere, a Fred, and a Lily, and more. Some of the fragmented memories were happy, some sad, and some strange. There was the cruel smile in the familiar nameless face. Her first memory and, based upon the other things she had been recalling, likely her last one before she had woken up. And then there was the dream she had begun to have at night. She was spinning circular room with floors that looked like standing water and doors facing her along the rotating walls, flying by as she screamed for a way out. And then there was a light, and Roxanne would awake, her throat still sore from screaming. It was just a dream, she would assure herself. But, no matter how much she might want to, Roxanne just can’t shake the feeling that it might not be a dream, but yet another memory coming back to her. Maybe drawing what she had seen could help her. Maybe someone else would remember what she was unable to.
