Carlisle Cullen might be what is the most esteemed character in the Twilight Saga. He is an ivory tower: the perfect father, the ideal vampire. He is, for the most part, forgiven, the reasons for which he condemned his family to vampirism understood. And to some extent, I would agree. A lonely vampire seeking companionship isn’t always the makings of an evil mastermind or a sick puppeteer.
