On this day, 12 August 2017, 32-year-old anti-racist Heather Heyer was killed and dozens injured in a white supremacist terrorist attack in Charlottesville, Virginia. Heather was one of thousands of people protesting against a Unite the Right rally of neo-Nazis, Ku Klux Klan activists and other white nationalists and antisemites, when she was hit by a car driven at speed deliberately into the crowd by a 20-year-old Nazi, who was pictured previously on the Unite the Right protest holding a shield emblazoned with the logo of Vanguard America, a far right group. Elsewhere in the city, another group of fascists attacked and viciously beat DeAndre Harris, a young Black education worker, leaving him with spinal and other injuries. You know it's time to start looking for another job when every time someone asks you to do something you get annoyed. Or when your new employee is bringing you perfectly good ideas but you are so fed up that you wish your new employee would just cool it because this job isn't work 110% its only worth like 10% lol ugh I'm so over it.

It's at like, every time someone asks me to do something I just think to myself "I wish I was just dead, that would be better than making these edits to this program that should have been done last week but you all wait until the last minute and then sent me your edits at 4:30pm on Monday so that I have to work past five fuck I'd rather be dead FUCK"
