Very Important* Reference for Fanfic Authors
Post Crypt of Tears, I know everyone is madly penning their own continuations. All of you authors are absolute GEMS and your contributions are completely appreciated. And while I would not want to rob you of obsessively watching the final scene over and over to catch every nuance, I would also like you to have a quick and easy reference to the important background details.Â
Where and how Jack and Phryne came upon these two tents in the middle of the desert is a mystery. How one is an absolute hovel and the other has legitimately more decor than is strictly necessary, I donât know. I have come to the conclusion that makes as much sense as anything else - the Phryne Tent was the 1929 equivalent of an Airbnb and Jackâs tent was the one that could be carried on a camel. It also explains how they were able to get away on only one camel with fuck all supplies to roam the desert. Anyway. Without further adoâŚ
Camp bed/reclining chair/beach lounger. Covered in wool blankets that look suspiciously Native American, but that could be due to another passing theory of these tents. **
Absolutely gross dirty tent material.
Unidentifiable pile of crap. Possibly luggage or cooking shit or whatever. I mean, DID they cook? Was town just to the right of the camels? If there was Airbnb, was there Postmates?
Absolutely unnecessary outdoor adornment. Phryne, you are SO extra.
