Day 08

When everything becomes repetitive, when you go about the same things and see no improvement, when you feel like you have stopped learning, when the reward does not balance the work you put it…that’s when you walk away.

Missed four days of posting, so here they are…

Day 05. Friday workday spent mostly on storyboarding a promo teaser for a new TV show. But I guess I spent as much time looking at photos of hazmat masks that I ended up doing a sketch of this woman. Disclaimer: taken from a poster for the Spanish TV series, La Zona.

Day 04 Photo taken during a camping trip at Calaguas Island, maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Post processing done in Photoshop. I wanted to highlight that clear, marble-like texture of the water. Been thinking of going to another beach trip soonest before the beaches get too crowded this coming summer.

Day 2

Average daily coffee intake. Morning, afternoon (resets my mind from whatever work I’m doing, or so I think), night (only because my body craves for it).

So I have decided to do a little project to keep this page running again. Starting today, I am committing myself to make an artwork a day which I will be posting on this page. I'd like to call it a Tumblr version of a daily vlog. That should make it less annoying and a lot easier than trying to do daily videos just to keep the creative juice flowing.

After a long rest, it's time to make new art. The creative dumpsite is back! Oh yeh!

Now, the girl dropped her name, trained under the faceless man, lost her sight, got it back again, got stabbed (of course she lives!), still out to get some much-needed revenge - and I’m still not done with this project. :’)

✊ Happy Women’s Equality Day ✊

The last century has shown more than ever what both women and men are capable of achieving, given the opportunity. Today, women’s equality has grown to mean much more than just sharing the right to the vote. It’s the equal opportunities to education and employment, pushing against suppression and violence towards women and against the discrimination and stereotyping which still occur in every society. So on Women’s Equality Day, Let’s stop thinking about men and women as separate beings with separate roles and start thinking about treating people as equals.
