Here’s what I do for the end of the year for clients, friends and family! I deal the cards starting with January, all the way around, then the three in the middle. I lay them all out, then reveal one at a time. My family has started taking turns writing the notes for each other so each person can concentrate. I also do this for birthdays, starting with the following month and going all the way around until the birthday month the next year. Try it for yourself!
I recommend writing it all down so you can go back later!
The three cards in the middle are: The overall theme of this year. What to focus on/do this year. It’s a card of action. What to avoid this year, or what the obstacle will be.
Stones for Witchcraft~
Sure, everybody says you should start out with quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, citrine but what about for witchcraft and magic specifically. What stone carries the witchy soul? I will be listing some stones perfect for use in magick to aid and strengthen you. You probably guessed the first one ;D
1. Labradorite
The Inuit people believe that Labradorite fell from the Aurora Borealis. Another legend claims that a warrior struck the stone with his spear creating the Northern Lights as a result.
This is a stone of magick, it is a stone for shamans, diviners, healers and people seeking knowledge or looking for guidance. Perfect for honing in your strength and power as a witch. Labradorite helps awaken physic abilities, strengthen intuition and create awareness. If you wear labradorite, it will help your innate magickal abilities rise to the surface.
This stone is the most protective stone you can get. It shields the aura and strengthens the energy within. It guards against negativity. Due to this, it is a difficult stone to use in black or negative magicks. Some say it is impossible. Because of it’s protective and shielding quality it is perfect to use when exploring alternate levels of consciousness and doing visionary explorations. This stone will keep you safe from all harm.
Labradorite is good for seeing past illusion and into the truth.
2. Dendritic Agate AKA Merlinite
Do not mistake with Mystic Merlinite. This is not the same.
This is another stone of pure magic! It is a stone of duality, of light and dark, black and white. It is the stone of good luck and the dark night of the soul.
It is said to be able to help the user recall memories of alchemists and even the great Merlin of Arthurian times (thus its name).
This stone attracts good luck and magick into the life of one who carries it. This stone is good for shadow work, allowing you to travel and see the deep dark parts of yourself. Merlinite, is a very shamanistic stone, aiding you to commune with the natural world and elementals and work with its energies.
It stimulates deep intuition and a psychic knowing. It helps to bring you in contact with teachers in other realms.
A stone of harmony it helps aid the birth of creativity. This stone is not only for the light aspects as it will allow you to see the reality of your own inner darkness.
Use this to bring balance to light and dark, masculine and feminine. Use it to balance any kind of duality.
3. Moqui Marbles AKA Boji Stones AKA Shaman Stone
“Moqui” is the Hopi word for the dead. They say that the dead come around sunset to play with these stones.
This stone is believed to carry two genders, like animals and people. The flatter more oval ones are said to be male while the rounder ones are female. They are often used as pairs. They bring balance to the masculine and feminine energies inside all of us.
Use for inner transformational work. Use them for protection during journeying and out of body travel. These stones prevent negative entities from attaching to you.
These stones are perfect for overcoming fears of any kind, especially death.
They elevate your intuition and help you come in contact and communicate with spirit guides and totems.
Moqui Marbles also help you to become aware of parts of yourself that may be hidden including tendencies or habits that come from past lives.
4. Nuummite
Nuummite is know as the sorcerer’s stone as it is a stone of sorcery and magick. It draws and combines the fiery energies of the earth with the energies of a raging storm.
Nuummite is the oldest stone on earth; it is approximately over 3 billion years old and has volcanic origins.
This stone is good for personal magick, increasing synchronicities and luck, clairvoyance and intuition. Nuummite allows for deep journeying into your psyche allowing you to see your true, authentic self- the good and the bad, the whole of you. This stone will bring you gifts of inner power and self mastery.
A great stone for grounding and highly protective, it shields the auric field and fiercely fends off against negativity, manipulation, and environmental pollutants.
Nuummite heavily draws from wild earth energies.
Be careful. This stone has intense energy and may be too much for some to work with. Nuummite is a strong magick stone and should be taken seriously and treated respectfully. Use with good intent as harmful intent rebounds on the user.
5. Hag Stones
These stones you can find around lakes, rivers, and creeks. They are natural stones with a naturally-forming hole (or holes) straight through.
Hag stones are believed to ward against evil, negativity, curses, illness and nightmares.
The holes inside the stones are used to look through and are said to help you see other worlds, spirits, and even fairies.
Hag stones can be used to enhance the magick abilities of anyone who uses it or keeps one on them. If you cannot afford any stone at this time, look for hag stones outside. They are powerful and have been held as sacred to many ancient Pagan religions for thousands of years.
The Seven Stages of Alchemical Transformation. It’s easy to dismiss alchemy as an ancient and outmoded form of chemistry - a stumbling block along the history of scientific thought. And that is for the most part, what people outside of spiritual circles do. It gives to the uninitiated a somewhat comical impression: a loony man’s thirst for material wealth leads him to believe that it’s possible to turn lead into gold. Like most occult practices, the true value of alchemy is hidden underneath much obscure symbolism, warding off the muggles, and keeping the secrets within. What alchemy is actually fixated on is spiritual development - with the end goal being a state of awareness, completion and harmony. If you’re saying that this sounds familiar, you’re right - it’s similar to the states that we see in other religious or esoteric traditions, including tarot and buddhism, as just a few examples. Alchemy is another thread that links all religions and faiths to the vast indra’s net of spirituality. Here, we’ll follow and trace the metaphor of creating the philosopher’s stone from prima materia, and what it means in terms of self development and actualization.
one word spells
As long as you can focus your energy and set your intention your spell should work, so I’ve designed these 5 spells using just one word for a Witch who needs a quick fix.
Mariquil
Pronounced mar-e-quil
Used to calm a temper or an upset person. From the latin word for sea, mare, and the english word tranquil. Essentially you are calling the sea inside them to be still. For better results cast with wet hands.
Univert
Pronounced Uni-var
Used for faster transport. I use it at the train station to have a shorter wait time but really its designed for traffic lights. By combining uni from universe and vert, the french word for green, you’re essentially asking the universe to make your path green.
Visididen
Pronounced Vis-e-did-en
Used to go unnoticed or invisible. Taken from the english words vision and hidden. For best results chant it softly while visualising yourself turning transparent.
Lapagna
Pronounced Lap-ag-na
Used when you just need someone to shut the f**k up but are too polite to say so. Taken from the Latin words lapis and magna, meaning stone and voice. For best results hold a stone or some earth while casting, if they’re really pissing you off just throw the stone or dirt at them.
Bavarignis
pronounced Bav-are-ig-ni
Used to strike up a conversation or to continue a conversation. Taken from the French word bavarder, which means chat, and the Latin word ignis, which means fire. Basically you’re asking for the conversation to spark or catch fire. For best results flick a lighter in your pocket or light a match.
I AM SO HERE FOR MAGIC WORDS.

STOP USING INORGANIC (poison) ROOTING HORMONES
… use organic Aloe Vera instead
Aloe is full of goodies ~ like enzymes, saponin, salicyclic acid, vitamins, and amino acids.
you can use them to clone your other plants too and its easy to do.
Interesting, I wonder how well it works.
It does work. We actually use both, aloe and iba (indole-3-butyric acid). Iba is actually a plant hormone (an auxin - it is one of 5 auxins that plants naturally create). It can be extracted from willow plants and is commonly found in commercial rooting formulations. Iba IS an irritant to your skin and stomach, so don’t drink it or use it as a moisturizer, just use it on your plants. If you’re dealing with a lot of plants, use gloves.
Indole-3 butyric acid - a plant hormone that plants naturally make!
You can extract it from willow trees! Here’s a recipe from an enthusiastic permaculture person.
Here’s the MSDS on IBA (PDF). If you ever want to know how dangerous a substance or chemical is, try to find the MSDS for it. After you look up a couple of different things you’ll realize that there’s warnings on everything except water.
You can also just use water to root cuttings. Depends on the plant, how old it is, what part of the plant, etc. Change out the water daily and you may just see little white roots growing.
Reblog to save a cutting!
OMG
Witch tip
Just a reminder that various herbs like black tea can dye or stain, so double check before letting it soak into your light hair or white bathtub 🛁 with that being said, this can also be used to our advantage ~ infusing and dying clothing for magical purposes, staining paper or making an ink with special intents, the possibilities are endless 🙊🍃⚗✨

I didn’t realize how misinformed I was about skincare until I started practicing a little witchcraft. I thought that apricot scrubs were good, oil was bad, and that cystic acne couldn’t be treated topically. Oh, was I wrong. About a year ago, I befriended a 30 year practicing witch who had about 14 years cosmetology experience at the time. Having just discovered Paganism myself, I constantly bugged her about both subjects. She taught me some basics and I’ve been using them ever since. They really work. And it’s a nice and easy introduction to spells if you’re looking to get into somethin’ spooky.
First things first: Apricot scrubs are TERRIBLE. Any facial scrub that has granules you can see is going to put tiny cuts in your already irritated face and make your acne more susceptible to infection/irritation. She recommended using a mixture of coconut oil and baking soda to make a paste that will very very gently remove dead skin without causing redness. People with rosacea should avoid using any type of scrub, even though this one is very mild. Never exfoliate more than 2-3 times a week, and never ever do it two days in a row. When you’re done, make sure you put as much oil as you can in the trash can- rinsing it off in the sink will clog the drain over time. And remember- the thicker the paste, the more coarse the scrub will be. Scrub using gentle yet wide circular motions, timing yourself at about 60 seconds.
Oil is not bad for your skin! Coconut oil has tiny molecules unlike other oils, so it can penetrate hair and skin better than other oils. Coconut oil is excellent at pulling your natural facial oils out of your pores without stripping moisture. After you use the scrub, use a warm, damp wash cloth to gently wipe away the oil and baking soda. You should always moisturize immediately after cleansing, but I’ve noticed that after using this cleanser my skin doesn’t ususally need it. Besides coconut oil, lavender oil, grapeseed oil, and sweet almond oil are also very good for acne prone skin. Tea tree oil can be diluted heavily and applied to spot treat, but do not use more than once a week in small quantities or it will make your skin itchy and red. Always always always moisturize before putting on makeup by the way!
As for the face masks! I have a face mask recipe that will reduce my pore size by like 80-90%. Seriously. If I used it once a week I’d have perfect skin, but I don’t, so even when my skin is at its worst, this mask still kicks ass. I don’t have exact measurements for everything (or anything really) so please be patient with yourself when making them. But that’s the beauty of this recipe- you can change it to fit your skin problems with a little research and a trip to the health food store. Side note: Do the mask right after you use the scrub. Otherwise it won’t work as well.
The base of the mask is this magical powder called kaolin clay. I buy it in bulk at the health food store and it’s cheap as hell. It’s just a mild clay that turns to putty then hardens in ten minutes. I probably use ¾ cup, maybe even a full cup for a mask. Just depends on how many liquids you want to include. Star out small and add as you go.
After putting a starter amount of clay into a small bowl, I set that aside and start on the liquids. I like to use tea instead of water. I make a teensy amount of hot water then pour it over green tea, rose petals, and calendula petals. Green tea is anti-inflammatory, rose balances pH, and calendula is great for skin. Try to buy organic so you’re not dousing yourself in pesticides. I set these aside to brew. The less water you use, the stronger the tincture, and the less time you need to wait.
I only have a few essential oils, but if you do a little research, it is super easy to pick out some that are good for skin and are non-comodegenetic (won’t clog pores). I take my little bowl of clay and start adding a few drops of lavender oil, a few drops of grapeseed oil, a squirt of sweet almond, and two tiny drops of tea tree. Other options are ylang ylang (good for oily skin), chamomile (very soothing), and clary sage (for reverse aging and puffiness). I would say maybe 5 oils would be a good maximum, just because you need room for the tea.
Add the tea by holding the flowers back with a spoon and pouring tiny little amounts into the clay and oil mixture, stirring frequently so that you don’t get it too thin. You want it the texture of Elmer’s glue. If a few petals get into the mask, that’s fine. Some people add loose green tea leaves to their masks straight up, so whatever’s clever. Then just smear the mask on, avoiding the eye area if you used tea tree oil, and leave it on for about 10 minutes. It will harden so if you want to drink anything you should use a straw, and the mask will flake a bit towards the end, so be aware of that. Once the ten minutes is up, just splash wet water on your face to turn it back to glue texture, then wash off with warm water. This may take a while. Then after you dry your face with a clean towel, check out your pores in the mirror! This is my favorite part because there are patches of my skin when I don’t have visible pores at all, and where I do, they are so much lighter and smaller. The essential oils must penetrate the blackheads or something, I have no idea, but it does what no Biore strips or Clean and Clear scrub have ever done before.
Make sure you moisturize after ! I have really bad acne so I follow up with benzoyl peroxide (doctor’s orders) and a light drugstore moisturizer to keep my pores looking like this as long as possible. I recommend doing this mask once a week at least, but definitely no more that once every three days. And don’t pop pimples! Give these remedies some time and you will see a huge difference.
One more thing: Rose water. I make my own, but it can be bought at $30 a bottle at Sephora. However, I don’t use mine that often because it’s non-organic, so unless you have the hookup on organic roses, you might want to steer clear. Basically all it is is rose tea. I get roses from my boyfriend frequently, so I hang them up to dry thoroughly and then collect the petals in a burlap bag. Once I have a grocery bag’s worth, I toss them in a pot to boil. There are lots of ways to do this online, but mine is very simple. Just bring petals to a soft boil, steep until it’s dark red, then let cool. I store mine in a massive mason jar in the refrigerator. I leave some petals in there to make it stronger, but you can strain them immediately if you like. Definitely strain them before using the water to make you life a little easier.
I use rose water as a toner between cleansing and moisturizing. It’s cool from refrigeration, which calms any puffiness, and it apparently balances pH. Another cool thing about it is it moistens your face right before you moisturize. Lotion doesn’t always add moisture to your skin, it often just retains what moisture you have. So if you moisturize damp skin, you’ll retain more moisture. Seems weird but it works.
The witchcraft comes in where you want it to. I like to put intention in the stirring; meaning I stir right if I want to embrace good vibes and positive outcomes, stir left if I have something negative on my mind that I want to banish. I think there is magic in the herbs and oils themselves so I don’t get too fancy or chant, but it is totally a thing for people to chant while making these kinds of elixirs. Tumblr is full of awesome little rituals! I just tend to keep it simple.
So anyways this is basically everything I know about skincare, and it was all taught to me by a woman in her late thirties that looks like she’s 24. Kudos if you read this entire thing! Seacrest out.
Capricorn is the sign of alchemy, lifting ordinary objects to higher dimensions. This process seems magical to the outside viewer .. but it’s actually just an extreme amount of work on the material plane that allows their magic. The signs afterwards (Aquarius + Pisces) have an in depth knowledge of this alchemy as well. You can apply this in your own chart, no matter your sign, through your saturn sign/planet
