I surprised this little munchkin picking him up from preschool today! a change in heart

I'm in the midst of an instant message conversation with a person whom I never thought I would be talking to about God...never! I went to school with this person for a few years, late primary and early high school, and every week we would fight about Christianity and God, and there we so many instances where I just wanted to give up on her and give in to the arguments, and give her the answers that she and the majority of my school peers wanted to hear because I had heard enough, I had, had enough of the taunting from the rest of my year about my beliefs. But back then my faith was stronger, I didn't care what the world thought of me, I knew that my creator loved me and that I loved him and he wouldn't leave me hanging in the midst of trials. I remember sending many a prayer about this person, for her eyes to be opened to what she was missing out. Prayers that although were prayed with whole heartedness, I never expected to be answered in the way I so desperately wanted them to be. Despite my prayerfulness towards her, I also resented her in the same regard. She was the popular girl who everybody loved and everybody wanted to be friends with, seemingly had everything she could ever want, seemingly didnt need Christ. At least thats what I thought. I don't know what changed her heart, but what I do know is that God worked in her heart completely! 7 years later, she becomes a Christian...add another 3 years and that brings us to tonight...10 years since I last had a conversation about God with her, and its a completely different conversation to the ones had a decade ago. I never thought we would be discussing churches, bible teachings, worship, our experiences of churches and what we are searching for within a church. It's a massive reminder for me not to doubt the love that Christ has for his children and to not doubt him!
