You have a point there -- thankfully, the first few days are usually just syllabi and everyone settling into place. Unless you’re an AP teacher; they get started much faster, I swear.

Under ordinary circumstances? Yes. Most teachers have a plan heading into the school year after summer but it’s not exactly possible with this situation.
