As Lena’s arms wrapped around her Kara couldn’t help but give her a bright smile, though she had never been one to crave human contact outside of hugs, she was starting to understand the desire to want someone close, to want someone looking at them the way Lena was looking at her, to feel that heart exploding kind of happiness. 

“Maybe both? Both sounds good” she mused, tilting her head to nudge their noses together before bringing her lips back to Lena’s. Reminding herself not to get carried away in her excitement Kara kept her hands against Lena’s thighs, absently brushing her palms against them as she stared out with keeping the kiss light and soft.

The moment she felt a little more daring she shifted her hands to hook back behind Lena’s knees, using the position to pull her impossibly closer and nearly flush against her, smirking a little against her lips Kara lightly nibbled on her bottom lip. 

All the air seemed to leave Lena’s lungs the instant that Kara brought their lips together. Kissing someone had never really felt like this, to Lena. Perhaps it was how she had been brought up without many ounces of affection.. Or perhaps she had been ruined with her previous relationship. Whatever it was, Lena couldn’t put a price on what she had with Kara. She had awoken her to something she never even thought was possible for someone like her.

So focused in the gentle yet passionate brush of their lips with one another, Lena was taken by surprise when the reporter hook around her thighs and pulled her closer. She let out a noise that fell between a moan and a squeak, her fingers digging into the woman’s strong shoulders.

Not wanting to be nothing but putty against the other girl, Lena’s chest swelled with that boardroom ego as teeth dug into Kara’s lip. She pulled it back towards her, releasing the soft flesh with a small pop before pulling Kara back. She deepened the kiss, tongue swiping momentarily against Kara’s lips before intruding to seek out it’s partner.

Starting small at first, Lena’s hips rolled slowly against Kara’s stomach, thighs clenching as she pulled back, only to rut forwards more purposefully. Her hands shot down, clouded with lust and want as she tugged at the hem of Kara’s shirt.

“I want you to take this off.. And I think we should take this to the bed..”

Even though she felt warm and turned on already, Kara couldn’t help her bright smile the moment Lena’s hands took her own and her girlfriend settled against her lap. Giving Lena’s hands a gentle squeeze she kept her eyes on her face, offering her a soft smile before leaning up to gently kiss her.

“Lee, you don’t need anyone to make you feel good about yourself. I mean you’re incredible, yes, obviously you’re sexy and stunning and beautiful, but you’re so smart and so kind, and so funny, you’re like a dream girl, and I feel very, very lucky that you even want to hang out with me, let alone let me blush over how pretty you are,” she told her, never letting her gaze leave Lena’s.

Moving her hands Kara gently settled them against Lena’s thighs.”I was…am, really nervous about tonight but I’m also really excited, I tend to feel like my heart is always going to explode when you are around, I’m not sure if that’s because you’re my girlfriend or if I have something wrong with me,” she pointed out with a small, awkward giggle. “But I hope it’s the first one,”

Lena’s heart practically melted in her chest, thighs hot where Kara’s palms lay against her skin. Her girlfriend was no doubt the sweetest person she had ever had the pleasure of meeting, and Lena didn’t feel worthy of having her affection. She wasn’t sure she ever would be.

“I hope it’s the first one.. Because you make me feel that way, too,” Lena sighed, letting her arms wrap around Kara’s neck. The other woman was so hot to the touch, but that was an incredible feeling for Lena.. Who had been so used to the cold.

Bumping her forehead against Kara’s, Lena offered her a small smile. She had been so nervous about the night, and panicking that she wasn’t good enough, or pretty enough. But now she was here? And Kara was looking at her like that? Lena forgot all about those thoughts. She was a Luthor. She was a CEO of a major company. She had a beautiful, sweet girlfriend that adored her. She didn’t have anything to be scared of.

“Are you going to stare at me all night Or are you going to kiss me?”
