i hate when apps know that i’m screenshotting something. when i screenshot something, that’s me acting outside your realm of understanding, app. i am beyond what you consider the observable universe. you’re not supposed to perceive me. we don’t know when god screenshots the earth. we don’t know when he’s like, “okay i’m just gonna take a pic in case i ever want to add dinosaurs back to something later and don’t remember how.” and if we did, we wouldn’t act all smug about it like, “hey, you wanna share that post? you could just click here to share it.” no, man. you didn’t catch me. i screenshotted this for my own reasons. what’s next? i can’t take a photo of my computer screen with my phone out of laziness without being shamed by the printer i don’t own?

They're around each other, they're civil/polite, they're company and whatever they got it's helpful and reciprocal but if you called them friends they'd do that "ehh" noise and say "well not really"

yet another year observing the strange societal agreement that summer is outside time and better and more inhabitable than winter

like I always knew I was the minority for liking the cold better but every day it's just confirmed more and more

I never see people with convertibles open when it's chilly outside

I know of people who refuse to work outside jobs during the winter because it's too cold but are just fine doing it in 100 degree weather

I see people all summer out walking or sitting outside

any outside activity is significantly more popular in the middle of summer, like uncomfortably packed with people, and you could do the same thing in winter and there's maybe like 10 people there

and on top of that most of the outside activities only happen in the summer

there's music festivals, faires, markets all summer long and maybe one in the autumn/winter months

like I'm genuinely not even the type of person to say winter is better than summer it's just my personal preference I'm not gonna yuck on anyone else's yum

if summer is your vibe and you fuck with the heat? hell yeah man that's awesome

but like

why is society systemically yucking on my yum?

maybe I wanna get out and enjoy stuff too and just like how some people can't do that in the winter time I can't do that in the summer

I bring a real 'actually people who are pregnant do deserve some special consideration because they are effectively at least temporarily disabled if not permanently after some complications' vibe to the party that a lot of people don't seem to like

Conservative beauty standards are back with a vengeance which means it's especially important to go out this summer with bellies out and bodies unshaved. Also be unapologetically disabled with mobility aids and wearable medical devices and stim toys and ear defenders and all that stuff. You need it. People need to see it. Everyone needs to be reminded that life is unquestioningly more enjoyable when you're not living inside an arbitrary set of rules created by people who are offended by all the wrong things.
