I still remember how I used to think about working out and eating healthy: I won't ever give up to sweets, anything but sweets. I couldn't even imagine my life without that sweet sensation in my mouth. If I would've just focused on the fact that without those things I would be a healthier, happier, self confidence and feeling the best I would ever be, it probably would've been easier in the start. Don't focus on what you have to give up, think of what are you going to get from it!
Gluten Free /Low Calorie/Protein Pancakes
Don’t you ever get the feeling of eating something sweet without the guilt? Well, I do it all the time. So I gave myself the task of finding a healthy (and easy after all) recipe for that craving. Sure I did and I really wanted to share it with you guys. I also did the math and they’re only 66 calories and 7.1 grams of protein each! Isn’t it amazing? So there it goes:
10 portions
- 6 egg whites (I’m using the ones from the carton)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp Stevia
- 1 tsp cinammon
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 cup rolled oats (I’m trying to use natural, they say Quaker’s are transgenic)
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa (optional, it only adds 2 calories more).
Instructions.
Add ingredients in blender in order listed. Blend until no lumps remain. Pour 1/4 cup into hot pan. Wait for bubbles to appear and edges to set; flip and cook until they’re done in the center. Enjoy!
Aaah! One more thing, since I don’t eat them all at the moment, I store them in the fridge and reheat them whenever I want more... Trust me: children love them!
My motto
The every day struggle… When I see my coworkers ordering tacos and I’m just sitting there eating a salad.
I wish I had 3000 points everyday 😂
I recently finished Insanity, and just to slow down a bit from the madness, I went for a run... Comparing this race to the ones in the past, I'm thrilled how strong insanity made me! I became faster and my endurance is over the top!
Me and my sister have changed so much...
Meet My sister Maria: http://missmariet.tumblr.com/post/125730319828/my-weightloss-journey
This is me...
My weightloss journey.
This is my story, my journey. This is not a fairy tale, but it does finish with a happy ending. I was overweight my whole life, and at a certain point I hit obesity. I was unhappy, unhealthy and my self esteem was on the ground. I had no friends and very few goals in life, until I decided to make a change: love myself, treat me with respect and dedicate to be the person I wanted to be. So I did. Fortunately I had the support of my sister who was a very important part in this process, without her, all this would’ve been harder or nearly impossible. I started on my heaviest when I was around 90 kg and today I’m a healthy woman of 54.5 kg. It was hard, it took me awhile but I finally reached the top of the moon.
