Arguably one of the best moments of the Layton Series is in Last Specter, when the group gets confronted with these three Gangster-Guys and Emmy just says: "Gentleman, I hope we're not going to have any trouble here", which Layton immediately recognizes as "I'm about to whoop your ass if you do not get out of the way immediately" so he and Luke immediately back away.
