I was inspired from Ayami Kojimas work in Castlevania that I wanted to try drawing something similar, and I was particularly drawn to this work that I heavily referenced it for the Katakuri drawing here

Some wips of the above drawing. It took me 5-6 months before I was satisfied with the final look (it was mostly just trying to find the best ref for a realistic facial structure of Katakuri)
