Ok, it’s been a long few days and everyone is either gloating, on edge, confused, angry, happy, but I think mostly, a lot are HURT. I think everyone is so divided mainly because of the guessing game that Chris, Alba and both of their band of merry misfits.
Opinions aside, I think we can agree celebrities are where they are because of the fans that pay for work. Also, they owe these fans nothing but human respect. They do not owe fans their private life etc. BUT, Chris Evans did have an image he made for himself and why else would people believe him to be different from who he said he was through his own words and actions.
He never had to answer questions for what he looked for in a partner or hoped to achieve. But he did. He did not need to elude more than once to being single in the past year. But he did. He did not have to flirt with interviewers in the past year. But he did. He could have put a stop to the endless breadcrumbs and hints from Alba, Justin and Joana, Scott, Steve and Tara (NYE, drag Queen brunch), but he didn’t. He didn’t need to fall through on a fundraiser obligation (the teacher that he did the last minute video from the Portugal Four Seasons knowing his fans would pick it apart) but he did. He didn’t have to have an article drop hours after his SMA title showing his new relationship. But he did. He didn’t have to do a pap walk the day her show’s new season dropped, after the article that followed his SMA title, but he did. So much hard work over the years for ASP, and he didn’t need to leave that the minute things amped up showing they were together, but he did. He has had Twitter FOREVER and when he took over an IG Josh had, people started questioning his likes and follows. It was like he was using it like Tinder. Once the sh!t hit the fan with this girl (people calling out her friends racism, fatphobic remarks, her onset behavior, the age gap, along with the baiting her friends and his did including his own, it’s like he disappeared with an interview here or there to show he was alive. He looked thinner and different. His dick pic slip, her shower strip tease, her mom posting pumpkins before Chris posted the same pic and eventually a pic of them with the photo on their phone beside uncarved pumpkins, his emoji and few word comment under her post, and so much more, he announced he was leaving both platforms and that was it. Gone. Just like a lot of his fans who jump to everything he does to spend their hard earned money for him to jet set with this child.
It came across like he was hiding. Hiding her and hiding himself. He never defended her or protected her like a Henry Cavill did. Had he just been up front with things since her side wanted to be public, it may not have been so ugly. Instead, she deleted all her posts that shed any negative light being that she was about to be in more spotlight. She ditched any support for her show and left them out to dry like Chris seemed to do with ASP.
I say this because as everyone is disagreeing and sometimes taking things really far on different platforms over whether this is PR or REAL or wavering on BOTH, these people are still playing games with the feelings of people who basically pay their paychecks. They are enjoying luxuries with a smile on their face, watching while fangirls are tearing each other apart. Justin is still taunting. Alba is on IG liking things and following people. Jamie is posting from Chris’ house and then Bryan posts both of them with IV bags for hangovers with Renner’s voice in the background and maybe Scott’s. Chris’ team keeps editing his wiki page every time someone tries to change it. Scarlett has been added to the list of guests even tho there is no pictures of her with anyone or in the vicinity. Just sightings. I find it strange that a source saw her with RDJ and heavily detailed what they ate and what she wore, but couldn’t take one second to snap a picture. Elsa Pataky was listed but she was not there, Hemsworth’s mom was at that meal with Renner and RDJ and his wife. The venue was listed as Cape Cod and then his residence. Family and friends were said to be there but her sister was in PT, two of her good friends were in PT, and it’s still sketchy where some of his friends were on Saturday. He was also supposed to be at TIFF this weekend up until the strike happened. We don’t even need to go into how much work it is to get a marriage license for two citizens of the same country, so imagine how much is needed for two people to get married when one is not a citizen of that country. I’m sure most people have seen The Proposal.
We all know Scott officiated their sister’s wedding, sure he could do the same for Chris, but anyone can go through the motions of a wedding. Devils advocate, they may be in love and wanted to have a ceremony to seal it, but I just don’t see how she, or he (in Portugal), have been together enough to have taken the legal steps for a license. There is no way Chris Evans has not been pictured out and about with this girl and it not leaked. We have a gourmet list of food that Scarlett ate the other day and a detailed clothing attire for her, but NO PICTURE! These things don’t happen. I have nothing on why Jeremy, RDJ and his wife, and Hemsworth and his MOTHER, were together in Boston. That’s why I say, maybe there was a ceremony of some kind, who knows, but I don’t understand how it could be legal.
Somehow, things are anonymously dropped about Chris when this man has 20 years of Hollywood under his belt and has only let things out he wants and kept other things tight. It’s convenient some things have slipped through the cracks with this.
The thing is this. There has been so much drama and inconsistency with this whole ‘relationship’ and there is one party in this relationship that has a very opinionated and strong fan base. He has said things to create the image that said fan base loves about him, and now here we are. If he wanted private, he should have made it private. The reason people are divided is because there were no defined boundaries because people posted things to show they were together or with friends of each other or his house or with his dog. He, himself, posted a video dump of scare pranks and then a dump of pictures together. That’s not private. He let her come to the Ghosted premiere, yet didn’t arrive with her and side entranced her. She was visible just enough for pictures. There is a way to come in without being seen at all IF they wanted to be PRIVATE. That was not private. Private would be enjoying the ‘love’ they share instead of making a post to elude things or show they may be together. That’s called public.
If they are going to tease and show things eluding to them being together, just show it and go on about your business and life. Sure you may lose the fans that want their celebrity crush to be single, but what he’s done now is put his fans against one another and allowed this girl and her friends to taunt his fans and that’s what has brought us here. She and her friends have posted some racist and shaming things, that’s what’s brought us to this point. This is why you can’t have your cake and eat it too. There is no in between for PUBLIC and PRIVATE. He could have gone about his life, not hiding her but still being private too. That’s not what he did.
This has been a mess and Chris Evans is the one to blame. If he wanted to keep things private why is it splashed across all of the media platforms I log on to that he is married? This man has now made himself look like a f🫠cking asshole and horrible boyfriend if you believe this has been real for 2 years. We all know about the rumors of girls being flown in, the IG likes and follows and the trend in them. We all know about the ‘puppy dates’, co-star flings. We also know she was with Lucas Bravo and that borders were closed and precautions were in place for Covid and their timeline cannot be what they say. Another reason why there is Team Real and Team PR. He allowed these people to bait and taunt the people who put him where he is. He did his own teasing as well. He played more than once with words that hinted that he was single. He no longer has an appeal to me and that’s my opinion, but I want to see how this one plays out, so I’ll stick around and watch. He can’t cover everything with a cute puppy picture or video. My choice is because he isn’t who he claimed to be. He doesn’t stand for things he said he did and I judge that by the company he now keeps and falling through on being the man he said he was and what he stood for. I really hope this ‘wedding’ and ‘marriage’ and his ‘wife’ are mentioned at this convention by fans at his table or photo lines. This is not how privacy works! So private that tabloids were told by a source about the wedding, then two locations. Conveniently new stories with locations come out with sources from the PRIVATE couple even though NDA’s are signed with new info on attendees and a second ‘ceremony’ in Portugal for her side after fans call out nobody being seen from either side out and about or being in a different location.
Again, be who you really are, marry who you want, do what you want, say what you want, BUT don’t say one thing because you know it’s what people want to hear so they will continue to hand over their money for being who they thought you were. Want privacy, BE PRIVATE! Don’t tease or let others tease when you have a fandom. OR, even if you want privacy, don’t hide things while others are teasing the truth. There are ways to do that. JLaw, ADA, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx etc. there are ways to do it but the way this has been done has been a slap in the face to the once who have supported you and helped you when you had mishaps, you even thanked the fans. That’s why we are where we are and you, CHRIS EVANS, have people who don’t even know you and you obviously could care less about, at each other’s throat (which is also silly but it’s true) because now it’s become a game of who’s right. I don’t care if my opinion is right or wrong, I’m just here to see how it ends now.
Side note: He’s getting ripped apart by critics for Pain Hustlers, so if he’s going to continue to play this game with his fans, there will be nobody to save him anymore from horrible projects! So maybe be yourself and STOP HIDING AND PLAYING GAMES with the people who adoreED you.
