Can we please go one practice session, qualifying, sprint race or race without people accusing McLaren of favouriting one of the drivers and saying that they should let the other through.

We are not professionals, we don’t have all the information that the professionals have. Half of you wouldn’t be able to be race engineers due to your obvious bias towards your favourite driver.

They’ve not fighting for a championship. The most important thing for the team is that they both finish. Hopefully in the points.

Let’s face it, neither Daniel or Lando we’re likely to overtake Bottas so the chances of points were low. Therefore it’s not worth it to risk something going wrong during the switch and potentially losing both cars.
