Task:

Study the drawing mistakes resource and guidance on drawing a glass above then spend 2 hours on a tonal pencil drawing

Working from direct observation, draw a glass filled with water with an object of your choice placed inside.

Annotate to describe the lines marks and colour combinations that you tried out.

What did you notice?

What decisions did you make and why?

Explain the choices of line, colour, marks and patterns that you developed following your experimentation.

Evaluate by identifying what went well and what could be even better.

What problems did you have? What were the solutions? What have you learnt by doing this task? What wold you do differently next time?

Continue to responding to feedback on the tracker on the relevant page in your sketchbook.

Task 3

Email your teacher your student comment for feedback tracker. Think about how you feel about your progress so far e.g. WWW / EBI?

You should spend at least 2 hours on these tasks. Deadline is next Tuesday

Title: ‘Combining Contrasting Forms’

Describe and record (around your original artwork) differences, ideas, textures and shapes that you see. Explain how you approached the weaving activity - WWW / EBI, problems and solutions.

Make a viewfinder (5X5cm) and put it over an interesting place on your weave. Look carefully at that section and make a large (10X10 cm minimum) coloured enlargement of that section. Use colouring and drawing pencils.
