Okay guys, it’s official, i’m archiving this blog and leaving it on hiatus. I’ve loved Ate so much and this blog has been my first rp experience and I’m so happy that it has been so wonderful. ( Ok so I know I said I didn’t know how to write down Ate’s past relationships but I’m going to have a go. )

The four great loves of Ate’s life (part 1)

Theo was a stable boy for a wealthy and influential family in Pompeii in 77 AD. He and Ate met on a hot summers night when he was braking into a house, trying to find money and valuables because he was making little at his job. Ate had noticed him sneaking in when she was wondering the streets, and followed him through the window. The next day she found where he worked and their romance developed quickly after that. He was quick-witted and matched her teasing and it was first love for both of them. It was a year of seeing each other until Theo lost his job and went to sea as a fisherman. When he was away on a long trip, Ate discovered she was pregnant and nine months later she had a daughter Mariana (more about her in another post). Theo never met his daughter as he died at sea in a storm.

Elias was a noble Englishman and younger brother to the heir to the title Earl of Gloucester. He was skinny and bookish, preferring to study with his tutors than to spar with his brother. Ate met him when she danced with him at his brothers ball and made him blush with her flirting. She continued to charm him for months and when they finally slept together he felt it was his duty to marry her. He pleaded with her to say yes but she refused him, knowing that they could not grow old together. Soon his parents betrothed him to a young lady called Maud with a wealthy family. Although she loved him dearly, Ate told him to marry Maud and he did despite his love for another. She left to Europe on his wedding day. Slowly he came to love his wife and they had many children together. Over the years Ate came back to check on him and mourned him bitterly when he died of old age.

Headcanon

Ate loves children. Like really loves them. She thinks of them as kindred spirits due to their mischievousness and curiosity (and their sometimes destructive habits). Often she’ll spend days playing with them and helping them carry out pranks, making them more complex and extravagant to annoy adults. Her favourites are usually the trouble makers who struggle in school and rebel but are sweet underneath because she feels that it was how she was when young. She is often very protective over every child, jumping in if any are threatend or harmed.
