I think one of the most beautiful things in this world is finding someone whose presence feels like exhaling after holding your breath for far too long. Not excitement. Not chaos. Just peace.
Confessions of a 20-Something
Does anyone else ever feel like there's an unbelievable weight sitting on their chest? People ask, "Are you okay?" and every day you give the same answer, "Yeah, I'm good, thanks."
Not because it's true, but because you've never really had the option not to be okay. You've never had the freedom to think or feel anything beyond what one specific person allowed you to think and feel. Then, for a brief moment, you got a taste of freedom. The fog started to lift. You began to question things, evaluate your life, form your own opinions, and figure out what you actually wanted.
And then it was gone.
You found yourself back in the same controlled way of living, except this time without the blinkers on. Now you can see it all for what it is. Every compromise. Every frustration. Every piece of yourself you've had to swallow to keep the peace. So you bite your tongue. You carry on. You smile when people ask if you're okay. All while hoping you can keep the anger, resentment, and frustration contained long enough that it doesn't eventually implode and take your whole life with it.

The desire to spend a few days in an off-grid cabin, surrounded by trees, with nowhere to be and no one expecting anything from me.
There’s something so deeply beautiful to me about women’s bodies in a way that has nothing to do with sex. The softness of stomachs and thighs, the curve of hips and backs, the quiet strength in shoulders, the way bodies can look both gentle and powerful at the same time. I think people forget the human body can be appreciated like art, the shapes, the balance, the warmth, the way no two people carry themselves the same. There’s just something profoundly beautiful about it all.
