First attempt at making the 'Quick & Cool Grocery Tote' by Virginia Lindsey. I did a mock up in muslin but this is the first one I've made in patterned fabric. Other than the handles being a little messy I'm really happy with how it turned out. And you can use it for other things, not just groceries. In this picture I have a whole stack of hardcovers and softcover books. Saw a similar tracker on Bujo Junkies fb group and just had to make one for myself. Found a pin up vector online and just printed it out, traced around it and coloured it in. day 7 of 'The Addams Family' by The Little Stitcher @laura_violet_r I have Morticia and the house finished! Once I finished the house I decided I was going to do each individual piece to completion before moving on. So far it's going well. The patch of four x's between Morticia and the house will turn into a spider, but because it's Linen I didn't trust my counting so needed a small marker to start Morticia. Got myself two patterns from the French Pattern sale they were having and I have all the floss and fabric to start at least one of them ^.^ The funny thing is when I bought the patterns, I only looked at the pictures, I didn't pay too much attention to the designer. I finally have a #JardinPrive pattern! I've been wanting one for a while now and accidentally got myself one hehe. Finally got these two #finishes framed. 'Home of a Needleworker' still has to actually be put in the frame, but I have to figure out a new backing for it since it's too thick with the glass to fit. What the #furrbaby did as soon as the hubby got home...curled up against him and gave him a hug. He's been like this for at least 30 minutes. He's gotten so much more needy for attention since the baby was born. He's never been the kind of cat to need to be sitting on your, or petted constantly. Ended up showing my hubby what I was stitching as I forgot how slow it is to stitch on linen and if I wanted to get it finished in time I needed to be able to stitch when he was home from work. I think I'm combining it into his anniverary gift as well because it's our fourth which is linen. It takes away a few weeks of stitching as we were married at the beginning of Oct but that's fine, until my medical issue's get fixed I have a lot of free time. . .
