It's ready!!! Paella Mixta for my cousin.

From my father's vegetable garden. My father died 2 months ago. Wow, can't believe 2 months have already past. I miss him every day. He loved nature. He loved his little organic vegetable patch. This little flower made me smile and remember him. I'm glad there are so many reminders of him all over the place, especially in the garden.

Ube Pandan Cake A few months back I bought this cake to bring to my mother-in-law's house. I bring the dessert. Thats me, "The Cake Lady". Discovered it in a place called Icings, at the Promenade in Greenhills, and it is YUMMY!!! Alternate layers of Ube, Pandan and Ube cream, topped off with green tinted whipped cream! It is light and surprisingly refreshing! Unable to get it out of my mind, I bought it again for my son's 4th birthday.
