Recalling the whole thing just made her realize that it just shouldn’t have happened in the first place  ❝ Gosh Sav ... What is wrong with me? Nothing has changed because when we saw each other at the party we just had the same fight over again. Denial. It was an ugly thing and maybe he was too stubborn to just fight. For he figured that this battle or whatever was already lost. So, why bother in fighting for something that wasn’t there? Or rather showing his vulnerability. Because the few times he had—it had back fired in his face. “Tapping out? I’d rather give up instead of being reminded of this never ending cycle that we have going for us. You’re the one who always has to over-analyze everything and not just enjoy the moment. It just shows your lack of caring. And maybe now I’m just realizing it. Finally.” Roman spoke back, shaking his head as she talked about the kiss that happened. He refused to think back to the intensity of it. What it meant and how he felt from it. The male was not setting himself up for more hurt. More pain that the brunette could do to his heart. And maybe he was to blame for the beginning but right now, he was trying. Or had tried anyways. Only to be pushed back in a sense. Most of her words were jumbled, due to his stubbornness but as he watched her leave or at least to start to—finally Roman was brought back. His arms crossed and a more colder stare came on to his features. “Yeah. Walk away. That’s what you’re good at. You signed out a long time ago, so I’m only returning the favor.”

Victoria was ready to walk away from this, to ignore his words that did ignite something in her but she it was best if they were ignored for now. Roman was not wrong, there was a viscous circle between them, but it wasn’t them, it was this same damn conversation that had them both spinning around and driving each other crazy since they began to talk to each other again. It was the same fight, of her telling him how he gave up, of him telling her how she walked away. Pointing fingers left and right but not really getting anywhere. Tori was tired, she was too productive of a person to keep entertaining this so of course his last words struck a nerve. So she turned around, fuming from the thoughts and her mind going a million miles an hour  ❝ I’m not going to keep apologizing for something you are simply not ready or not want to forgive me for. I would say it every day if it was going to do something but you just ...  ❞ Her voice was stern, and the pain she felt was not showing in the aspect but they sure were behind her big brown eyes.  ❝ I said I was sorry and I meant it, Roman, and there is nothing else I can do.
