Working on my body โก๏ธ working on my future. Right now, things are CRAZY busy! Usually I am super diligent about going to the gym after work, no excuses, no bs- but unfortunately my work life is coming first right now. And that's okay! Usually I am resolute in my determination to balance my personal and professional lives (I work to live, not live to work!), but right now I have a really great opportunity in front of me and I would be a fool not to seize it. So, currently my day to day consists of overtime, working through lunch, and being busy every second of the day instead of BBG and trying to be the champion of the gym each week. My focus has also shifted during this time. Instead of pushing and challenging myself (since enough of this is happening during the day already!) I'm being kind and caring so I can decompress and reenergize since I'm usually exhausted and completely drained at the end of the day. Instead of eating balanced I'm making sure that I'm doing my best to at least eat enough. I allow myself to veg out on the couch and read fashion blogs at the end of the day if I want to. I try to fit in a run or a workout if I have the time and energy, too. I know this isn't going to last forever (hopefully there will be relief after the holidays!) and that's why I'm okay with giving myself a break. Does it mean that I am going to allow myself to fall off of the wagon? Hell no! There's no good reason for that to happen. Besides, #thekaylamovement Is starting back up on January 11, and I can't think of a better time to get back at it! ๐ฅ Until then, I'm going to take one day at a time. ๐
