BREAKING DAWN PART 2 REVIEW (Contains Spoilers)
Okay so I just came back from seeing the Twilight Saga Marathon and I'm still coming down from Cloud 9. Breaking Dawn Part 2 is literally the best movie I've ever seen. So many emotions were rolling through this movie is was so hard to literally grasp every detail of it.
First, (after the very very long opening credits) I love how it literally starts where the last one ends. Bella Cullen wakes up to her new life, and she is absolutely stunning. Kristen Stewart is a goddess in this movie, I couldn't stop starring at her face.
When Bella finds out Jacob imprinted on Renesmee is probably one of the funniest scenes in the movie, she pretty much kicks his ass.
In the first Breaking Dawn Part 1, the honeymoon love making scene was very PG. In Part 2, they definitely kick it up a notch. Bella is now a vampire and stronger than Edward. (So let's just say she can hold her own.)
The anticipated arm wrestling scene with Bella and Emmett did not disappoint at all. Definitely another one of the funnier scenes in the movie.
Now if you're a die-hard Taylor Lautner fan like I am, you've been waiting to see the scene where he phases in front of Charlie. Not only does he phase into a werewolf but we get a little strip tease from Mr. Lautner also. ****
When Edward, Bella, Jacob & Renesmee traveled to the Denali Clan, Edward gets into a mini confrontation with Tanya & Kate. Bella comes out of nowhere and defends her man, definitely one of those "AWWWW SHIT" moments.
Surprisingly in this movie there is a LOT OF COMEDY! Between Jacob saying some sarcastic remark or getting his ass beat by Bella or Aro's maniacal laugh, there's several scenes that leave you laughing.
THE FIGHTING SCENE. Alrighty this is the big one. This was the ultimate scene in the movie. You are at first led to believe that the whole confrontation will end when Alice show's Aro that there is no threat coming from Renesmee. But then this huge war breaks out between them leaving Carlisle decapitated and Jasper ripped to pieces. Now after the audience is finished screaming you are left to find out that the entire fight was what Aro saw while seeing the future through Alice.
Renesmee Cullen: For most of the beginning of the movie you are seeing a baby's body with a CGI face until she is old enough for Mackenzie Foy steps in, who simply nailed the role.
The ending was simply heart-warming. Edward & Bella are in their special meadow when Bella has figured out how to show Edward all of her thoughts since he can't read her mind, which shows us a brilliantly put together montage of all the Edward/Bella moments since Twilight.
In all, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, was in my opinion an A+. The twist at the end was PERFECT! It left everyone in the audience speechless. It was the perfect ending to an amazing story line that will continue to entertain us forever.
